My parents often explained why they were telling me I had to do (or not do) something so I could think about it. Maybe that's why I'm not getting it.It's like when you were a child. You knew you had to listen to your parents when they said no. You didn't need them to tell you if it's evil, or good- you knew that they had authority over you
Disobeying god is "wrong." It's a "sin." It's "evil." How could you even know that disobeying god is "wrong" or "sinful" or "evil" or "right" or "good" if you don't have knowledge of the difference between those things? So I guess they would know they were disobeying, but how would they know that it was the wrong choice?
