Didn't Satan Give Us Freewill?

It's like when you were a child. You knew you had to listen to your parents when they said no. You didn't need them to tell you if it's evil, or good- you knew that they had authority over you

My parents often explained why they were telling me I had to do (or not do) something so I could think about it. Maybe that's why I'm not getting it.

Disobeying god is "wrong." It's a "sin." It's "evil." How could you even know that disobeying god is "wrong" or "sinful" or "evil" or "right" or "good" if you don't have knowledge of the difference between those things? So I guess they would know they were disobeying, but how would they know that it was the wrong choice?

Ok, take it back to the actual story in the bible..
Man was created to live With God in the garden. He didn't create Adam and just leave him on his own- he created Adam with the intension of being with him. Adam knew- without a doubt that God was real- he was able to converse with Him. God made Eve so that he'd have companionship. He made her from one of Adams own ribs- so that when joined together- as a couple- they would become "one" again. One flesh.
He gave them the ability to create life together- to reproduce and make life like He can. He didn't even give His angels that ability- He gave it to man. Satan hated man for that reason- he hates that we have power that he doesn't have. He hates the union of man and woman because together,we are powerful, we have the ability to do something so powerful- something he can't do.
God knew they would be subjected to satan's temptations and so He told them not to eat the fruit of the forbidden fruit of the tree for they would die. Was this not explanation enough? To be told not to do something or they would die? When they ate the fruit, they broke His commandment. They disobeyed Him because they were told that if they did- they would receive knowledge and power that God hadn't given them.

This clearly shows that God had given them free will. He gave them life- and created a world for them to live in. He told them they could eat anything the wanted in the garden- except for the fruit from that one tree. He gave them the ability to choose their own paths- to make their own decisions. They chose to disobey him
