Diets

...diets can be good, and i do think that most Americans need to change the way they eat. i just get worried about "fad diets", though.
I concur with you 100% about 'fad diets', and I use that term for any diet that tells you to eliminate a food group or that does not emphasize exercise over diet. Fad diets may give you quick results, but they fail because when you don't eat as much, your body's metabolism drops. Then when you go off the diet, you gain the weight back almost as quickly, especially for people who do not increase their exercise level.

In the past 2 years, working with my HMOs health advisor, I have dropped from 280 to 240, and I've graduated down 2 pants sizes. I make sure I eat something in the morning, and I don't 'pig out' at any meal. Like Unedited said, stop eating when you're no longer hungry. It sounds simple but a quick scan of an average crowd at the mall or any public place tells me a lot of people could do more.)(

I can't do a low-carb diet. I usually get several servings a day. But I use it before it's converted to sugar. I eat lots of potatoes and plenty of fish and other meats, either grilled or baked to reduce fat content. Some Stacker 3's also help boost energy and burn fat. T-Bomb 2 helps build muscle quickly, but I don't recomend that unless your male, and ready for some negative side-effects that are a natural part of having testosterone. The main one being aggression and irratability, which is raised to a whole new level while on it.

Did anyone hear about the lady that lost weigh on her McDonalds diet? It was a calerie intake diet and she took in like 2,000 caleries a day from McDonalds and that was it and she lost wait eating hamburgers or something to that extent. I love how many diets there are available to people, because some people lost more weight here than there. Once I get down to 200lbs I'm going to do a healthier diet (balancec diet), but until I can start looking fit again, I just lack the motivation to work out the way I should.

I agree that many Americans do need to change thier eating habbits, with both what is eatin and how much is eatin. Like the guy on Supersize Me said "Who really needs 8 oz. of french fries?"
i really liked that movie!

i came out of the theater, while not convinced that McDonalds is "evil", convinced that Americans do need to take more responsibility for what and how they eat. this includes the people who make and market food, especially foods that are unhealthy.
