Reason, and reason again
I was just curious as to how many people actually have an interest in alien-based religions? I'm not specifically talking about Scientology, but every belief system out there. While there are numerous opinions in the field, I've found a lot of people believe in direct panspermia.

Could anyone imagine what the affects of having a superior alien rase harvesting our planet be? Humans realizing they weren't on the top of the food chain would send most of us in shock, I'd believe.

So, to go along with most of my threads, I have some questions for you.

1.) How would the world religions react to the discovery (and evident proof) that aliens created all life on earth through some means?

2.) How would human kind react? War? Peace? Remember that it would be probable they're thousands of years ahead of us with technology.

The Man of Science
i believe in directed panspermia, but every one my age cant grasp the concept. it goes right over their head. i was actually thinking about starting a religion based on the concept, but i dont know how to go about it. i was planning on making the religion's deities the deities that the people who sent our DNA here to develop worshiped. Though i have no clue the deities "they" worshiped, so i was going to make them up like the ancients did with their deities. what do you think?
(not sure about the questions)

He who knows nothing and knows he knows nothing, he is a scholar; teach him. He who knows nothing and thinks he knows something, he is a fool; shun him. He who knows something and thinks he knows nothing, he is unsure; enlighten him. He who knows something and knows he knows something, he is wise; follow him.

I think it is an extremely plausible idea, but with one problem: it would take an untenable length of time to get from one star-system to another, even traveling at the speed of light!
I find it more likely that any "aliens" we may happen to encounter are going to be trans-dimensional rather than extraterrestrial.

1) They would ignore.

2) War is probable
