Disgusting!

I've been inhaling hot cocoa to soothe a cold.

I'm surprised that you survived. Hot cocoa does not belong in your lungs.

Try inhaling l-methamphetamine. It is a most effective bronchodilator. Which doesn't mean that it is for making horses bigger. It is the active in Vick's Vaporub.

Now when you say "together" do you mean alternating between the two during the same meal, or do you mean... together, like a garlic bread/orange juice smoothy? Because that's kind of gross.

Well, I meant eating the garlic bread and washing it down with orange juice, but now that you mention it I think I'm going to try your smoothie idea. :D

edit: and if it's good I'm going to call it "Orange Julius Caesar".

I've never really learned to like beets, but I love beet greens. I can handle a baby beet attached to the beet greens, but mature beetroot? meh.

My mother told me she could feed me just about anything as a baby, but if she tried feeding me strained beets, I'd projectile spit them all over the place.

A pizza with feta, ham & pineapple is heaven on earth.
Yum. I also like ham, pineapple, mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, and unsweetened coconut, and cheese pizza, as well. (Tropicana pizza)

My local pizzeria will also make up a spicy Thai peanut sauce instead of the usual marinara, and top the pizza with grilled chicken, red onions, spinach, mushrooms, and red pepper flakes. Yum.

Brussles Sprouts are gross but my sister loves to steam them and eat them with butter. *gag*

I on the other hand will eat as much raw cabbage as you will dare to give me. *smiles innocently*

"Orange Julius Caesar" deserves a frubal. It needs one. But I can't do it! Oh, the unfairness of it all! :faint:

A trick is to blanch them. That removes the bitterness. The same for broccoli rabe or any other bitter greens. Then saute them with butter, garlic, olive oil, and season according to taste. Really quite good.

Nerd Alert: A little-known fact is that brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbages (savoy, red, etc.), kale, cauliflower, broccoli rabe are all different varieties of the same species of wild cabbage. Much as all dogs are virtually genetically indistinguishable from wolves.

See I don't mind cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower any way to dice 'em. But those little dense balls of gag... hideous!

Marmite. I can say with confidence that the stuff is objectively disgusting. You may disagree with me and you're well within your rights to do so, but I'm afraid you'd be absolutely 100% wrong. ;)

Also a pet peeve of mine is when supermarkets use masses of cucumber to bulk out their sandwiches. Cucumber in and of itself is fine, but when 50% or more of a bacon sandwich is actually cucumber the cheeky phallic vegetable ends up totally dominating the flavour and texture of the sandwich. Nothing tries to stop me enjoying my bacon and gets away with it.

Marmite, Promite, Vegemite, they rock!

So do Vegemite, peanut butter and cream cheese sandwiches. No, really, they're quite nice. :)

These may offend your tastes, but not me!

I LIKE:

Peanut butter mixed with chopped bananas is yummy.

Peanut butter and celery is also good.

Cucumber with radish hot sauce on salt crackers.

Yogurt drink with salt mixed in, unhealthy but addictive.

Goat milk with mint.

Lime pickle.

Thank ypu

I'm there with the peanut butter and celery, and also with the lime pickle. :)

Depends Upon My Mood..
Speaking of chocolate..

I like a classic version of Mole sauce that contains chocolate.

What grosses me out is my mother chomping down on a pickled pigs foot. The claws and skin with hair are on it..SICK! Eating around the bone of a pig foot and sucking and crunching ....SHIVER!!!
