i think it will be a woman first, but what i would really like to see in the white house is someone who is not a aristocrat. i think a regular guy/gal who never forgot where he/she came from would be great. it wouldn't matter to me in the least bit what if any religion he/she followed or what color he/she was. i just want someone in there who can better identify with the perils of the everyday amerian.

And interesting to see the poll results. People waaaaay underestimate the sexism that remains in this country. (And no, I'm not saying that because I'm bitter about Clinton losing, I actually supported Obama.)

No, perhaps in a couple decades. Religious fundamentalism is very powerful in America. I can only hope something weakens it so that we can function more freely.

I think a homosexual actually has a better chance of winning than an atheist (or Wiccan, or Pagan, or Buddhist, etc.) has.
