Why is it alright for God to have your murder someone yet he tells you not to murder? Why is "Gods" will widly accepted as an excuse for doing terrible things? Please explain this to me.

IF we accept that God is absolute justice, as well as our creator, we know that he has every right to take people off this earth as it was he that put them there, and that when he does take people off the earth it is for a good reason.

These are usually radicals of a religion and people from the same religion would say that their not following the will of their god.

But if God murdered the entire earth via a flood, yet he tells us not to murder. Wouldnt that make him a hypocrite?

but he isnt murdering them. dont dodge our statements if you cant refute or argue them, ignoring them wont make them go away.

How can you say that the extinguishment of life with intent to rid is NOT murder? If I killed my girlfriend in the name of God, and TRULY believed that God spoke to me and told me so, THAT WOULD BE MURDER!

how can you be sure God wanted you to kill your girlfriend? thats very presumptious isnt it? its more likely you killed your girlfriend and decided to give GOd the credit. so if you cant be sure God wanted that girl dead is it right to say he is a murderer?

also your getting our morality mixed up with God, the reason it is wrong to murder is because God ultimately has the say when people die not you, murdering is taking something that didnt belong to you, however the life belonged to god because he was the one who gave it, so for him its ok.

I doubt it, If I murdered a Christian wouldnt I be doing him a favor by sending him to heaven?

Also who can question the credibility on wheter or not I was spoken to by God?

that fact is you couldnt say for sure so you would have to withold judgment the evidence of one more isnt even to say he didnt but its a farcry from saying that he did, so you would judgement.

and no you wouldnt because you would have no right to take the Christians life that is up to God, only he decides who lives and dies.

If God didnt want me to take a life why doesnt he stop me then? Isn't he all powerfull and all seeing? Doesn't he know already what will happen in my life? If God plans peoples lives for them why did he plan on having Hitler murder 6 million jews? Or having people in their buildings when the Hatti earthquakes happened?

If you accept that “God” is “absolute justice” then you will obviously conclude that anything “God” does is just. But that is not a valid argument, nor is it an answer to the OP.

hmmmm didnt you say you used to be a Christian? cause these are basic questions mate that rely on my interpretaion of Gods predestination, only a calvinist has a problem answering this.

God gave mans free will which he abused, he rejected God and went his own way therefore God withdrew himself partially therefore there isnt the perfection there once was as well as their not being the justice, therefore there is murder and chaos and we only have ourselves to blame.

a calvinist response would be different.

why isnt it he asks why can God murder Im tell him its not murder, firstly because its either a punishment which is being invoked or someone else acting of their own accord, i added the part of justice to say why it wasnt murder

When was the world ever "Perfect"?

Christianity would say at the beginning when man had a relationship with God, now what we mean by Perfect is up for debate. A look into theology points at many thoughts, some based on evolution others not,

That would be destroying your free will.

He didn't plan Hitler to murder six million jews. Hitler walked out of the will of God at an early start in his life.

Like I said in another thread of yours. It rains on the just and the unjust.

You are saying that “God” has never committed murder (directly or indirectly). Ok, that is different. But the point is that if “God” did commit murder (or order murder) it would be immoral, just as it would be if a human did it.

And for the record I reject the argument that because we are “God’s creation” that “God” has the right to murder us. If you create a sentient being that is capable of feeling then you have a moral responsibility to that creature just as you would to a sentient creature that you did not create.

(God's will is infalable) free will is the inherent nature of any living organism. If God can see what I do in the future, why is he unwilling to prevent it? Why call him God in that case?

he is unwilling most of the time because he doesnt generally impied on peoples freedom thats why, he gives you a choice to do wrong.

no no i never granted God commited murder and ill grant the second statement you make on the grounds that i dont need it to refute him
