Do Atheists believe in an afterlife?

I believe when you die you find rest.
There are also so many things that I would like to do, but can't because of my own mortality. When I die I don't think I'll have to worry about needs anymore, and then I'll be able to travel the whole earth.

As already pointed out, an atheist is just someone who doesn't believe in gods. It doesn't necessarily mean they don't believe in the supernatural at all, i.e., that they are naturalists

I think an Buddhist atheist is going to most likely identify as a Buddhist, a Taoist or some kind of pagan atheist (not even sure what that means) rather than an atheist, because atheist/humanist organizations and the online atheist communities are dominated by naturalists who leap upon any sign of supernatural thinking. If you joined Atheist Nexus and declared that you believed you had an immortal soul, you would be in for a rough ride!

What do Atheists believe happens when someone dies?
Do they believe you just cease to exist like the Jehovah's Witnesses?
Or do they believe there is more to life than just this life?

I am an atheist and don't believe in any sort of afterlife. All life dies, but the species lives on hopefully thru reproduction.

It depends on the atheist you're talking to. I myself don't believe in any kind of afterlife, but thats beyond the scope of atheism.

Atheism does not require a belief in the afterlife it is an answer to one question "Is there a god?" and the answer for an atheist is no, after that everything else is left to the individual. This is a loaded question, and as such even though I am an atheist I will not answer it, before you take any surveys do research, so as to ask the proper questions. In this case it would be "Do you, being an atheist, believe in an afterlife, and why or why not?"
