Do rights come from God?

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Here's what I believe and try to apply to my life:

I believe that we are to love God, and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. I don't believe God cares one way or the other about "rights." I believe that for the most part, our governments give us rights, which are not all that important in the big scheme of things. I do believe that if we love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves, things become very clear to each of us as far as how we should treat each other.

I've lately thought that for myself a less blunt way of speaking might be in order.

So too for all, is remembering to address the topic not the
posters perceived attributes. ( see above)

To me it is just saying things if someone
speaks as if with authority yet has no
info / facts to offer.

You seem to disagree.
What, then, is it to you?
What do you call for, as facts? Is a science lab needed, is a court needed? I just would work with reasoning, to show there is God, and as our Maker God matters to us. If you haven't heard the reasoning, do you want to?

God is love and God cares, our lives have value from that, as if not in other ways we would see. Rights we have inherently are from that. Just remember, God is loving and caring for all.
