Do we have to destroy the world to save it?

How does that happen?

From the article:

"Sovacool [25] estimated avian mortality from fossil fuel power plants across the United States as a result of collision with infrastructure, electrocutions, pollution and contamination, and climate change."

infrastructure collisions and electrocutions don’t seem related to fossil fuels

That would apply to any industry

of course not.

That’s why liberals can’t tell the difference between a man and a woman and they think the universe spontaneously appeared.
Oh, I suspect liberals can recognize the various "bits" that make up the physical and outward signals of sex. We just admit that humans have mental states, too. And that they are every bit as important to us as the naughty bits.

And that the biological bits are complex and malleable.

Do you believe a teen girl who is anorexic should get liposuction because she thinks she is fat?

He is a dedicated life long environmentalist. He wants a cleaner planet but he he thinks the hysteria often leads to counter productive outcomes.
In what way does that make his claims more credible than those of other dedicated life long environmentalists who are opposed to expanding the fossil fuel economy? Why do you believe that wanting to create a better world is indication that he actually knows how to arrive there, whereas thousands of other people who want the same thing are wrong because they disagree with his assessment?

Being neither a medical nor psychological professional, what I believe has no relevance. I leave that to her, her parents, and the professionals.

You could say that, but the problem is primarily the blades which can be moving as fast as 300 mph at the ends.

And with fossil fuels you have contamination and pollution.
