Do you believe in some form of Creationism or Evolution?

I would have voted for both had the option been there. I am certainly a believer in Evolution, but I believe that without God, there would have been no life on our planet.

I personally see no conflict between Creation and Evolution, and believe in both of them.

I would agree with that.
The two are not opposites.
however Old Testament Biblical Creationism, if believed as an absolute, does prevent the belief in both evolution and much of modern scientific thought.

Ancient Stone age and Bronze age thinkers did not have the information necessary to come up with more than an allegory for the formation of the world.
Genesis give us the collective best attempt by those thinkers, but should not be seen as any thing more than a work in progress.
Modern science has increased our understanding... in the distant future we may well have come to an even more complete understanding.
To the extent that our modern theory of evolution may well be seen as only the first step of a whole new concept and science.

I believe God created everything in 6 days and rested on the seventh. He did this by the power of His Word thousands of years ago, He spoke and it was so.

I believe in both Creation and Evolution, though I do not believe God actively directs the process of Evolution: I see Him as more of a program writer (Evolution is a program in the Universal supercomputer) who programmed His creation to evolve life naturally without His ongoing interaction. IE. my position is Deistic Evolution.

I think this poll sets up a falce dilema. The science of Evolution says nothing about the absence or presance of a God.
It is perfectly possible to believe in both.

But seeing how underhanded and unscientific the "science of creationism" is I can not support it in any way. (its not my myth anyway. )

I believe in both creationism and evolution but I dont in the literal biblical version of it. I believe that evolution is just one of "God's" tools in which God has used in part to shape this world.

Why would what you percieve as the dishonourable actions of Creationists disuade you from arriving @ a reasonable belief in a beginning and end to Timespace by the power of your own intellect?

I'll join the minority of....*Paul*. I believe in the literal 6 day creation of the universe by God as recorded in Genesis 1-2.

I definitely believe in the creation story as told in Genesis, but I don't believe it rules out the possibility that God used some forms of evolution.....just not the forms that most evolutionists claim, like one species turning into another species, or humans evolving from apes...those sorts of things I think are preposterous and totally disagree with the Bible.

I also, believe creationism of the Bible literally interpreted. Although it was re-created in Genesis.

I believe in both. Besides I think that if God really wanted us to know everything he would have put that knowledge within us.
