Do you believe in ghosts?

If ghosts DID exist though,
certainly they would be 'natural'
(ie, a part of the nature of the UniVerse)
as opposed to "super'natural"
(or "beyond" the nature of the UniVerse).

Just sayin'.

And when we have solid scientific empirical evidence that they exist I will include them into my view of reality.
Until then they will remain in the same category as dragons, unicorns, gods and faeries. ;)

that's fine,
but had nothing to do with what I said.

I've seen a few, but the best story happend shortly after I was ordained.

One of my sister's friends encountered the ghost of a man holding hold his hand saying, "Come here" every few seconds (maybe a total of ten times) and then evaporated. Instead of moving, she caught the whole thing on her phone. My sister was with her, so she brought the phone to me. They were both pretty shaken up, but the video and audio were freaking awesome.

She asked me what she should do if she ever saw it again, and I told her to follow the ghost's instructions. :D

That's what I would do. Obviously it was not a manevolent spirit, so I don't think that any harm could come of it... it may actually end the haunting.

Do they still have the video? If so do you suppose they would be willing to let you upload it?

I am in kinda a grey area on one hand I do on another I don't.
I have always been skeptical, so I don't really believe in them, unless it involves some type of thrill seeking phenomenon. There is a hill where I live, if you put your car in neutral then a ghost will push your car up the hill. It actually works, and people say if you put some type of powder n the bumper then you can see hand prints on it, which is obviously a myth. Though I have never tried and don't plan on doing it. The car does roll up the hill though, but I think it is more of an optical illusion than anything else.

My bother and dad claimed to see a ghost a an old battlefield that walks around playing a drum. I didn't see it, but they spent the entire day on a tour searching for it. So I can't really verify whether they seen it or not. I think I will ask them again now that some time has past to see if they remember, and if they validate their claims. :D

No, can't say that I do. My wife, on the other hand, goes for ghosts and angels.

Having seen the recent explosion in tv shows names "ghost hunter" "paranormal detectives" "ghost detectives" etc etc, all of which have categorically failed to deliver the merest shred of evidence in support of their claims of paranormal activity, my scepticism of ghosts has been reinforced to the point of being impenetrable. Thanks Derek Acorah, you’ve given me a thousand reasons to doubt your credibility.

I do not believe in ghosts, angels, fairies, or other invisible mythical creatures.

I do not discount that perhaps there are other species we do not know of, nor discount the idea of extra-terrestrial life, but definitely not in the way we picture them.

I'm crazy enough to believe in God and the existence of the soul - why do I need more crazy beliefs already? :D

I don't disbelieve in ghosts. I've yet to see any convincing evidence for their existence either though.

Didn't Bahaullah believe in angels though, or at least one, the maiden of heaven? If he believed in them, why do you disbelieve?
I'm not criticising you or anything, just genuinely curious. :)

I venerate my ancestors, but ghosts in the classic sense of dead folks wandering around, well I haven't seen that. The jury is still out on that one for me. I have seen other things, but they weren't dead people.
I used to do a little amature ghost hunting when I lived in waco, and there were some very odd things going on, but nothing that necessarily pointed to dead humans. I don't think whatever I was dealing with was ever human.

Nope. I don't believe in them anymore than I do god, bigfoot, yeti, loch ness monster, vampires, werewolves, etc.
