I would suggest reading some samples of mystical experiences. After just reading a few you will see why the unexplainable can not be explained.

A common characteristic with a mystical experience is the awareness of not being separated from the rest of the world. The world isn’t wrapped around us. We are part of it, not apart from it. The dividing line between the experiencer and the rest of the world fades to nothing. There is an awareness of connectivity of all things. The world is not made up of separate things. There is just one. This awareness isn’t seen with the eyes. During the experience the world isn’t seen as some sort of gigantic cosmic jig saw puzzle with all the pieces inter locking. It is just something the experiencer knows, but doesn’t know how he knows. It’s only when we focus on something we begin to see separateness or division.

Look at a picture of a crowd. What do you see? Just a mass of people. Now focus your attention on just one person in the crowd. Now you see the one person with all the others wrapped around him.

Another common characteristic with a mystical experience is just not knowing the world is just right, but perfect, without flaw. Think of the best song you ever heard or think of the most beautiful woman you ever seen. Multiply that by 1000 and you might just have a glimpse.

When we fully accept this moment in time, we do not anticipate the future nor have any regrets of the past. The eternal now is all we embrace. Now seems to be endless.

No matter how brilliant an explanation may be, it would still fall short of actually experiencing it yourself. No explanation would suffice.
Sure, same goes for any description of anything, compared to the experience described.
