Do you believe more and more people are getting into the paranormal?

And if the same non-paranormal explanation can be found then most will disappear. People in general are just not reliable sources of information.

Still many more scientists who just don't accept paranormal explanations though. And nowadays, many more ways to deceive humans
If you really believe all the millions of experiences have a satisfactory normal explanation, then carry on. But to me that seems pretty much impossible.

I judge it on the average intelligence and what people with such are likely to believe or interpret, given that I doubt most of the people who have such experiences will be in the higher intelligence bracket and/or have sufficient education to recognise that there might be a simpler explanation for whatever they experience. Not being elitist here - just simply as to probability. I doubt most people know how they might be deceived - for example, magic shows wouldn't work if most people recognised how the tricks are performed.

I'd go back to my thought experiment of thoroughly analyzing 100 stronger cases and question whether a really satisfactory normal explanation makes much sense. And in every case.

Magic tricks are intentional efforts to deceive. Any intentional efforts can pretty much be ruled out in stronger paranormal claims. After decades of interest, I have not heard satisfactory answers yet for the stronger cases. I have to conclude that there apparently is no hidden body of elitist knowledge that can reasonably explain these things away.

But all the numerous cases you will point to, and where the vast majority probably will just not have either the education or any special knowledge as to how they could be deceived, will then count less. Added in will be those who simply try to deceive. The rest, who knows. There are so many coincidences that have no other explanation other than simply being this too. As I've said, my mind is peaceful as to these things, given that I know many scientists will have tried to prove the paranormal and as to prizes being offered - no takers so far as I'm aware.

I should add, I think the main reason why people don't tend to change the religion that is handed down to them is because they probably don't have the education and/or ability to question such, given that what they get mostly is down to where they are born - and even where what they believe conflicts with other beliefs. Perhaps they are just happy with what they have got but it hardly tells as to how rational they are, given that if they were born elsewhere then they might have some other religious belief or even none.
