Do you eat Squid?

I had squid a long time ago. Like a decade ago. Just pieces of muscle, not the whole thing.

The concept of eating something with tentacles didn't appeal to me, but I have a very dull sense of taste so I didn't really see what makes it good or bad. It just tasted like bland food.

Somehow I knew that the original post would be about a randy dead squid when I clicked on it, well not really randy but just a dead squid with live spermy sacks that shot off in someones mouth. As far as Calimari rings go I like Carrabas chain resturaunts the best and I've had them a number of places, that lemon pepper sauce

I try to avoid any food that includes the possibility of insemination in any form.

No, Rocky Mountain Oysters or anything of that nature.

For a wolf I'm very finicky... guess it comes from growing up around cats.

I have now had squid prepared in various ways besides the fried calamari. In Asia I had not only the squid tentacles, but also the torpedo shaped part from the head. It wasn't fried, but prepared in a stew of sorts. Somehow, just looking at it made me feel guilty of eating a squid :(

I try to avoid eating meat, based on the grounds non-violence and such, unless it's already been served to me or is the only thing my host can provide. I am definitely double thinking the squid now that I really think about the intelligence factor. Somehow, though I have probably heard it before, their intelligence never even occurred to me  Though, now that I think about it, I have often felt bad about eating a squid. They do have an air of intelligence to them.

We kill and we eat, I don't feel that we humans animals made it this far up the food chain by eating plants by choice. I think it is a bit of a luxury for some over the years to choose to be vegetarians and they have meat eaters to thank for that luxury of choice
