Do you ever get angry at God? Ever thought of praying to another Spirit/Kami/entity?

As of now I repent of my previous blasphemous words at this site. I don't like to hurt Gods feelings. But what about all the people he hurts?

It can be very hard for me to pray to God without getting angry at him.

But Heaven, purgatory, and other realms have many spirits that respond when I contact them. They actually motivate and inspire me to do good deeds better than God does.

Have you considered that there are entities , heavenly beings like Aphrodite and Venus, Greek and Roman Goddess of beauty, love, and sexuality

Or ever thought of praying this lovely prayer?

Believing I could only pray to Yahweh made me miserable and give up prayer entirely. Praying to other entities makes me nicer to God , and nicer to people.

Would you pray to an entity other than Allah or Yahweh? Why or why not?

I don't pray to Allah or Yahweh. But sometimes I do get mad at one god or another. And then I do share with them how I feel... and I think its healthy for our relationship. There are situations I can think of in which God wanted me to get mad, because he(in this case, the deity was male), so I would grow. I felt my anger was accepted and appreciated as an offering, as good and proper as any other.

Much like an infant learning to walk, if I hadn't become frustrated with my circumstances, I would not be able to navigate to leave/improve them. God will encourage us(in my opinion) to do this in whatever way we need.

Why get angry at God when God is there to guide you?
The anger comes often from that the person hold on to the ego, so when God "punish" for something done in the past, the person suffering without understanding that it is their own action, speech or thought that created the suffering.

No, but I have gotten angry at my subconscious mind for tricking me into believing there was a God. Well, certainty that I knew anything about such a God.

Not healthy though to see one's subconscious mind as an enemy.

I personally do believe in God, and yes, I do get angry at God. But like Conscious thoughts has already pointed out, by the end of it all, I am just reaping the damage I have sown in other's life. It's my own karma that has caused my suffering, not God. In fact, God Has Been Ever Merciful to me. Protecting me even when I deserved hell. I've personally witnessed supernatural interventions in my own life to ease my affairs for me, a higher power conspiring to my favor even when I am absolutely worthy of nothing but hell. So, I am sane and back to my senses, when I can only be thankful to God and be grateful to him.

However, I have been [and still am] extremely angry to God to all the horrible things that has happened to me. I am also, at times, angry at God for making me so [spiritually] weak that I ended up saying, doing and being horrible things which I did, am. So pathetic that I could not save my loved ones, and so cruel that I ended up harming others so terribly. I am mad at how sinful and evil I have been and still am. But God is not at fault here. The problem is me, not God.

I am applying my frail, limited thinking bound to laws, logic, physics of the world I am in. My limited thinking, logic is immeasurably insignificant to the Wisdom, Thinking, Knowledge of God and the laws of the world, physics, working of this material realm aren't necessary present in Godly Realm, supernatural world.

I tore my life and other's life apart, but God is the only One who can make everything novel and good again. As such, despite my anger at times, I still pray to Him in humility and I really, REALLY hope He answers my desperate supplications to Him.

And yes, there are times when I thought of worshiping other deities.

If you can't be angry with someone you love, then it's more like suppression of healthy emotions. Then there is guilt for that suppression as if it is your fault just because you're human.

I haven't been angry at a god but the god I'm familiar with through others seems unhealthy. If you can't get angry, then where are you puting your emotions on? Who are you channeling your emotions to that I'd assume only god can "handle?"

Sounds unhealthy to blame ones humanity for anger. Versions of inherited sin.

Here's something I found Is it OK to be Angry with God?

3 Keys to Being Angry at God and Getting Away With It

1. Run Toward, Not Away

When we are angry, the last person we want to face is the very one who frustrated us, but the worst action we can take is to cower away from God, stewing in our anger. He always wants to meet with us, regardless of how we feel towards him....

Putting the anger no where, simply have let go of the attachment to anger ( not as easy as it sound) if some form of anger should begin to arise in the mind, catch it before one speak, and see if it is worth getting angry over. It is not worth getting angry.

No matter how much I can't understand or how strongly I dislike something, the thought of praying to other entities has never come into my mind. I love my G-d.

It's impossible to get angry at God (the ultimate reality, al-Haqq, al-Nur, As-Samad, Ahad, the ground of reality without attributes).
It's easy to get angry at corporeal beings (humans) within the world though, yes.
Both completely different.

I wish it were that simple (personal experience). I'd assume if a person is angry about things, they can go to the people they trust the most. For example, when one goes to therapy, the therapist doesn't say "let go of the anger" and let them be. There's a full process involved whether one gets out the anger with friends or one has been abused and gets anger out on their therapist (treatment technique).

One shouldn't need to go to their friend, family, or therapist (if not appropriate) if they have god to turn to. I assume that god "can take it" because he knows the place in their heart. A therapist doesn't know their client "like that".

If anything, that's the first person I'd think one would turn to to let go of their feelings-god. If they feel guilt going to the person they love the most, I don't find that healthy both spiritually and emotionally.

The method of getting anger free may be different from person to person, religion to religion and so on. One answer will not answer for everyone :)

True. Though I'm more focused on those who seek god with extreme emotional baggage such as anger. Its unhealthy to say to a person they can't be angry at god. More than likely that person would direct their anger to someone else or themselves. It puts a lot of guilt on that person who wants help from god. It also makes people leave god because they are told not to be angry at god for he is all loving (and doesn't deserve it). It's very counterproductive.

Of course it varies from person to person, but that doesn't justify the need to turn to the person the believer loves the most.

What did God do that made them angry? If looking at past action, speech and thoughts, a person soon find that the negative words or thoughts from their own lips or mind only create more suffering, and God did not even have anything to do with it.
God has given multiple ways a human being can reach the spiritual wisdom, but human ignore it when things are difficult in life. And blame the one who could guide them.
Life is not meant to be easy :)

The person may feel that god hates them because they tell themselves (as other tell them) they can't disagree with god. So, the tense feelings of not being able to talk things out through anger as one would with humans is highly damaging. Many people leave god because of this and even more so people who believe telling them that they shouldn't be angry at god (or told it doesn't make sense to do so). It's a displacement of feelings.

It's about the believer going to god to let out steam on things that happen in his human life. It's being able to say "here god, I don't like you..." without feeling guilty. Then realizing that god comforts him "regardless his anger" and he feels comfortable he can be angry at god without being guilty to hurt god's feelings.

It's called anger displacement. You're mad at X and take out on god. Which in reality, you're not angry at god but you're going to him because you can't let go of your feelings to that person X.

It's very healthy to be angry at god. Regardless if god did something or not, suppressing emotions because "why god-he did nothing to you" makes it worse than just letting god handle the believers emotions to sooth him through it.

God has given multiple ways a human being can reach the spiritual wisdom, but human ignore it when things are difficult in life. And blame the one who could guide them.
Life is not meant to be easy

I can see that with believers but not humans in general. Only believers are under god's laws.

I do not get angry at God because God is God and I am not. I believe God sees the big picture from beginning to end and beyond; the eternal perspective and God is always faithful to work things out for the best, eternal purpose...

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:29

I would never consider praying to anyone other than God, the Creator of heaven and earth.

I wouldn’t, because it is against what Jesus taught and I think it is not reasonable. If I would do so, I think I could as well pray your neighbor. Do you pray your neighbor? If not, please tell me why?

Because my neighbor's a jerk. If I prayed to him, he'd probably call code enforcement.
