i was wondering about this. do you expect American Government to bomb Iran before elections?

No. Do you?

i don't know. Bush is already blamed for dozens of things. maybe before he leaves he could be volunteer to take one last blame on his shoulders. i really don't know. i was just wondering if he would..sorry if it was stupid question :)

An emphatic, “No”. The current administration has blown all its political capital on Iraq and could not successfully launch such a misguided enterprise. If things ever came to this, it would be much better for such an undertaking to be headed by the UN and NOT by America. However the UN has about as much credibility, politically speaking, as an Oil company exec has at a Green Convention... so it is unlikely we will see any real leadership coming from those tainted quarters.

Sadly, I think the only solution will be a civil war in Iran when the people get tired of being led down the garden path by the ruling Mullahs.

The US will talk tough but I do not think President Bush will invade Iran...I agree YmirGF...

i never said 'invade'. no power on earth to do that, really. but in one night you can bomb all the facilities, main army bases...well i do not know. but even US could not invade Iran. it is nothing like Iraq.

Only if Bush tries to fulfill his campaign promise of "Four More Wars"! I don't think 01.20.2009 can come soon enough! We should call it "Liberation Day". Let's hope we put someone SANE in the White House. I worry that McCain wants to continue in the Shrub legacy of starting wars in the name of oil.

Yeah... it was a running joke during the last election. Instead of the normal chant of "Four more years!", being the war monger that he (and the Republican Leadership) is, we suggested that a more truthful chant would be "Four more wars!"

However, make NO mistake about it. People who voted for Shrub voted for WAR. They voted for higher gas prices and they voted for fewer rights. That may not have been their intention, but that is the reality of the situation. How sad.

While I agree that there won't be any bombings in Iran during the remainder of the Bush Administration, I can guarantee that there will be bombs going off in Iran eventually.

Why do you ask?

Because if Iran goes nuclear then it's a near guarantee that a mushroom cloud will replace an American or European city.

If you want an idea of how it could happen read Tom Clancy's book "Executive Orders". Granted, that one uses a bio-weapon as the WMD instead of a nuke, but it's the same idea.

i wonder because i have certain idea about what USA & Israel want. EU as well. imo Iran and Turkey are their biggest problems. these two countries stay on their way to get what they want. i do not think, i am pretty much sure, they would do anything to get rid f these countries. sooner or later. for now, Turkey is pushed in a chaotic state. but Iran is more solid and appears to be strong. i do not think USA could invade Iran. but they cold do some hit&run attack against Iran. it has to be done. i do not know when. but there is no way USA &Israel could continue their path as long as Iran and Turkey standing still. some believes USA and Israel would manage a set up and make these two bomb each other.

time will tell:)

I give it a 20% chance before the elections, but a 90% chance that it will during 2009 if McCain is elected the next President.
