Funny story - a few of my girlfriends and I go out for a couple of drinks. Next thing we know, three young guys approach us with the cute boyish pick-up lines, and the only thing we want to do is tell them to turn around so we can check out their behinds.

They start asking us about our ages, and we let them know that we have sons that are about their age (and one of us, Michelle, has a college-aged son who's older than them.)

We call ourselves Cougars-In-Training. But we're always out just to look. Not to hook up. :p

My uncle used to say that the first time he got married, they were too young, and the second time he got married, she was too young. He felt he didn't have much in common with the second wife because of the nine-year age difference. His third and fourth wives were both three years younger than him, and both of those marriages lasted till one of them died. On the other hand, my grandfather was 26 years older than my grandmother, and five years older than his father-in-law.

Within about ten years works for me. My first boyfriend was six years older than me, my first husband was a year younger than me, and John's five years younger than me. I dated a guy nineteen years younger than me for a while, but I took a lot of crap about it from my friends.

You and the Rev are too kind...I took that picture of myself to send to my husband when he was working overseas for weeks at a time. I figured it might give him something to think about.

Uh, YEAH. I was never surprised at how stunning her kids are when we'd see their pics. There's a reason, y'all: They have good genes. :rainbow1:
