Put it this way: At every family birthday, there's at least 20-25 family members there. And we have B day parties practically every weekend of the whole year!

Here's an example: Me, my wife,my daughter, my FIL, my MIL, my BIL and his wife, my other BIL and his wife and my niece, my "tito" and his wife and daughter, my other tito and his wife and son and fiance, my other tito, my "tita" with her husband, daughter and fiance and son, my other tita, with her son and his partner, her son and his wife, her son and his fiance, and my cousin whose parents live in San Diego...................................and that's just my wife's side. That's 31 without my family yet.

Rarely see my father, mother died when I was 14, have a brother who I see once a year (geographical reasons), girlfriend lives with my daughter about 250 miles away and I see them about 4 times a year.

Basically, it's me and my dog here!

My immediate family is very small. I'm an only child so it's just my parents and me...and the bird.
I have one grandmother, two aunts, one uncle and one cousin on mum's side of the family. I have grandma/grandpa, 2 aunts, 3 uncles, and something like 12 cousins on dad's side.

Well, everyone has a family. And that really depends on your definition of family, because I think that there are many varieties of families. I have my immediate family, of course, but there are those people in your life that are absolutely your family - even if they are not blood. Nonetheless, you are extremely lucky to have such a big family! I have a brother and sister and love them more than anything in this world. Family is such a unique relationship to have. They get a part of you that no one else will really understand or ever get, no matter how close you become. That is the most extraordinary thing about family.
