Try to use a wok on an electric stove
A lot of things cook better on gas, too, its carbon footprint aside.
My country has an abundance of natural gas (to the point where we export some), so it's also far cheaper to use than electric.
I have gas.

When we moved here there was no oven, apparently if the owner wanted anything roasting or baking she took it to the bakery.
The "cooker" was half and half, 2 gas burners and 2 electric rings.

If I remember correctly, propane is the cleanest of the fossil fuels.

Propane is twice as energy efficient as natural gas which I think is why some claim its the cleanest fossil fuel.
