Do You Have Special Relationship With A Saint?

As Catholics I think the majority of us would have a special relationship with the Holy Mother, but is there anyone else?

I have a special intercession relationship with Saint Anne (Mary's mother). It's not due to some miraculous miracle or anything only a great sense of peace and comfort when I ask for intercession.

I'm curious to hear your responses.

I'm an atheist but was raised as a Catholic so I hope I'm not being rude by contributing...

I always had a particular fondness for Saint Christopher. I had a medallion on a chain when I was really young showing him carrying the boy Jesus on his shoulders across the river. I loved that story and the medallion was probably my favourite possession at this time.

Being Scottish I'm quite familiar with the life of the apostle Andrew (he is our patron saint) and the stories of Saint Columba who brought Christianity (and writing) to Scotland.

And then St Francis, cause who doesn't love St Francis?

Oddly enough I still find these men comforting to think and read about.

I've always felt a kinship with my name Saint, St. Patrick of Ireland. I've had the privilege of traveling to Northern Ireland, and seeing the places around Downpatrick where, according to tradition, he founded his first church, and where he was buried. I also briefly visited Armagh, where he had his bishopric. In some ways, I almost feel like he's a sort of grandfather to me (even though he of course never had any children, and we know literally nothing of his family other than the fact that he had parents). I draw a lot of inspiration from his Confession, which I'm in the process of reading.

St Patrick is a great Saint. Once a slave, escaped, then returned to preach the gospel to those who enslaved him. Truly a servant of the servants of God.
