Jesus warned that most wouldn't know him at John 15:20-21--the Father= YHWH(Jehovah)= the ONLY true God-- Jesus said-John 17:3--It just takes believing Jesus over religious dogma. Few will. I cannot understand it.

Jesus' teachings is "religious dogma".

Jesus only teaches the will of his Father( John 5:30)--- pure truth. Mortals twist it into oblivion. Have become a mass of confusion( 34,000 religions claiming to be Christian) --- One is. 1Cor 1:10= a true mark--no division---what cant they seem to understand about that fact?

Ok, so believing Jesus, according to Jesus, scripturally, who or what was God?

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

Wide vs Narrow -- fat versus thin -- a sacrifice that has been cleansed of fat -- pride is symbolized with largeness such as fat and being horny -- humble versus proud. The gate is narrow, and the context is that the person to go through must be thin though its not about physical thinness; and the context is about prophets.

The central characteristic of Moses is that he's a humble man. The false prophet lacks this characteristic and others. Jesus is talking about humility and pride. He continues on discussing false prophets in this passage. Jesus proceeds explaining that a bad tree cannot produce good fruit, so you can tell the good prophet from that bad and not by his words or by his silver tongue or behavior on stage but by his deeds, his humility (aka seeing others as better than himself and pursuant to that not living better off than others). So wide is the path that leads to destruction, but narrow is the path that leads to life. Nobody wants to be humble. Everybody wants to be important.

So this puts into context who is who.

Eph.4:6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

2Chr.6:18 "But will God indeed dwell with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built.

Jesus taught in a prayer to his Father in heaven at John 17:1-6,26--He said at verse 3 the one who sent him= Father( John 5:30) is THE ONLY TRUE GOD( and one MUST know him and know Jesus to get eternal life)---verse 6= YHWH(Jehovah) 26 = YHWH(Jehovah)

I see Jesus speaking of the God the Jews saw over what the Father is. Which is why they tried to kill him (stones) and eventually did. He clearly stated that the Jews father was a "liar and murderer" and not the God he came from. Their actions just proved his words.

Jesus spoke by the Holy Spirit that came through Jesus as Christ to man for the first time.

John 10:
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

John 7:
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Jews never had the living water (Spirit, capital S).

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus over religious dogma. So, does that post make you a hypocrite?

What I don't understand is how people today could still believe that ancient primitives actually spoke on god's behalf.

Because they can see the bible is true. Especially all have been watching Revelation pass before their eyes for many years, yet few have a clue.

The Israelites were Gods chosen. Jesus came especially for them to repent and turn-- they refused, sent Jesus to his death, and God cut them off( Matt 23:37-39)
Israel had the true living God.

I know 100% they do from experience. So where is your proof? Show all.
I have only one proof. YOU say that Jesus said to make other people follow him. You are not listening to Jesus. You are listening to what humans said about him. That is 100% fact.

No one is made to follow Jesus. God inspired his written word.

Israel had the true living God.
The Jews were chosen by their God. The Father chose mankind. The Jews offered first. Then Jews and Gentiles all. To say that the OT was the Jews (only) God then a God that Jesus said was for the (whole) world, is to say that God changed, which he doesn't.

The God the Jews saw and the God Jesus taught (Father) is not the same God, as Jesus clearly states. The Jews followed "angels", not the Father.

John 5:
36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

The Jews never knew the Father. They knew the God who promised a nation (flesh) following a law (of flesh). It was offered to Jesus as well.(temptation in the desert).

Mark:
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Jesus corrects them that they are NOT the chosen nation. God was meant for all. The Jews were thieves.

John 10:8
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

The Jews who were saints (who followed the prophets) were saved at the resurrection of the dead by Jesus. Matthew 27:52-53. Only their faith saved them, since the Spirit hadn't been given (to them). The Spirit was given to all men.

The only "chosen" are those who accept the son, which the Jews don't.

I see a clarity based on Gospel, not the OT.

Because they can see the bible is true. Especially all have been watching Revelation pass before their eyes for many years, yet few have a clue.

The promise was fulfilled in 1844.

The Bab (Gate) prepared the way for Baha'u'llah (Glory of God, or Glory of the Lord).

That was Christ, the Son, returned in the Glory of His Father, Baha'u'llah.

Yes there is One God and He has come in the Greatest Name.

Christ has warned us this would not be easily accepted.

You say Jesus said, "Go make disciples".

19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations,+baptizing them+ in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

Baptisim is the Love and Knowledge of our God.

With the Passage you quoted above. It is Baha'u'llah that has said we are to tell all Nations that Christ the Son has come as Promised, in the Holy Spirit, as the Father Baha'u'llah.

Could it be Christians have to see Christ in His New Name, as promised?

Regards Tony
