Do you know God?

I guess it's all in the perspective. I see a God who wanted to destroy the world , then a God who wanted to save the world. If you see the same god in both, so be it. Maybe he changes his mind.

I don't see the Father killing any man. That would make him a murderer. Jesus said that the father of the Jews was not the Father because he lied and murdered.

Follow Ruth if you wish. I'll follow the Holy Spirit. Something Ruth didn't have.

Jesus is Gods-IMAGE( Coll 1:15)-- He will show all at Harmageddon the God' attribute' of righteous war against all wickedness and things on this earth, shown in the ot against wickedness.

At the end of revelation, Jesus leads Gods armies to the earth to kill all of the wicked and wickedness. Rev 16 teaches--Every kingdom on earth will be mislead to stand in opposition to Jesus at Har-mageddon. I believe its 99% same as Noahs day--Most of the time throughout the bible 99% were being mislead. Its no different now, its much worse in some ways. Not all is as appears in a satan ruled system of things.

@kjw47 According to you and the Watchtower what is the reason why what was heard at first by The Holy Spirit and then written down for our eternal benefit according to The Holy Spirit wasn't BE MY DISCIPLES?

What does it mean to be a disciple? Does it not mean; to be a worthy representation of what it means to worship The True God, Jehovah?

Why, according to the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses do you have to add "MAKE" to that?

Matthew 28:19

New International Version
Therefore go and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

New Living Translation
Therefore, go and make disciple of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

god can only be known by knowing thyself.

12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is revealed in us.

Hear O'Israel the Lord is ONE.

1 John 4:20
Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.

Luke 11:52
“Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

Psalm 46:10
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

That was YHWH(Jehovah) speaking.. He is the Father. The only true God. 1Cor 8:6

The Bible supports 100% what was offered, thus poses the question to you;

"Do you know God".

Many claim they do, I do not, but Baha'u'llah does answer that question.

From Moses on up until this very day, the Israelites were taught, served and worshipped a single being God=YHWH(Jehovah)--same God taught to Jesus when he attended his first 30 years--The God Jesus taught-- John 20:17, Rev 3:12)-- Few believe Jesus, yet claim to serve him.

Yes, I understand that they all mean the same thing according to you and according to the governing body and according to the people of Babylon the Great. But, the important thing to know is what does it mean to Jehovah.

Yes that is the One God I also offer, he was also known as Allah through Muhammad.

One God many Names, the Greatest Name in this Day is what you will Find in Scripture.

In the last Day the 'Glory of God' will light our way.

It is easy for one to see a -- mass of confusion called 34,000 religions claiming to be Christian. Yet only one is. 1Corinthians 1:10)-- Unity of thought-no division. Only one has Jesus the rest do not. How does one find it. That is simple----Learn all that Jesus taught and apply it--then one sees clearer. Here is a major truth he taught that Few bother to do= Man does NOT live by bread alone, but by EVERY utterance from God. = OT-NT--over and over, year after year. One still needs help on certain truths. They must be taught by the real teachers of Jesus--the faithful and discreet slave giving food( spiritual) at the proper time. This will apply to those as it did to the apostles-Luke 10:16)-- sadly are rejected because they do not fit in. They are taught to be no part of this world. ( As best can be done)
Jesus clearly sent his followers out by 2-- house to house--city to city. With--The good news of Gods kingdom and king.* Luke 10--Acts 20:20,, Matt 24:14)) And here in these last days it began again. It doesn't stop until the end.
Sounds like you consider the Bible to be incontrovertibly true and an authority that has laid down a set of principles.

dogma
noun

A principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.

Why are you trying to co-opt someone else’s religion?

I am answering the OP Question.

God doeth as He Willeth, it is not I that have been given a Message from God.

From what I read, if we reject Baha'u'llah, we reject God and all the Prophets and Messengers from God, all our works become worthless.

Thus is is an important question the OP asks.

malachi knew the son

Malachi 2:10
[ Breaking Covenant Through Divorce ] Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another?

knowing the son is knowing self as god's offspring.

Acts 17:28
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

we don't live and move apart, separate, outside, or without him
I suggest a translation not paraphrased.

KJV:
10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

People retranslate a source to push agendas. 1599 Geneva Bible is also less tainted. A simple capitalizing an F can change perception. Just as it does changing "antichrist" to "THE Antichrist" tainting our perception from an ideology (verb) to a thing (noun).

The devil is tricky.

Use the Spirit to see the difference between Father and father.

John 8:
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Image is not seen with eyes, but mind. God doesn't have a beard. Jesus spoke spirit, not flesh.

Revelations is someones vision. It is not Gospel. Armageddon has been classified as many major battles that have occurred (even WW1 then WW2). There is no value of spiritual knowledge to be obtained in Revelations. It wasn't a required reading of early Christianity to understand the "good news" (Gospel).

It does more harm than good to the Gospel message. Same with the Apocalypse of Peter.

The taking of Akka was miraculous and was in Prophecy. It was taken without a fight.

A good informative read, friend. Thanks.

Even when Jesus was speaking of the impending doom to the Jews that resulted in being the first and second Jewish revolt, many took it as something different.

Man has been consumed with death from the beginning. It is fear, driven by fear. It purges the mind of ignorance so strong, life takes a backseat. I do not subscribe to our fear death. The promise is that I will not experience it. But not because of some misguided idea of rapture.

(18) The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us how our end will be."
Jesus said, "Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death."- Gospel of Thomas

The Lord answered and said: "Truly I say to you, none will be saved unless they believe in my cross. But those who have believed in my cross, theirs is the Kingdom of God. Therefore, become seekers for death, just as the dead who seek for life, for that which they seek is revealed to them. And what is there to concern them? When you turn yourselves towards death, it will make known to you election. In truth I say to you, none of those who are afraid of death will be saved. For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who have put themselves to death. Become better than I; make yourselves like the son of the Holy Spirit."- Secret book of James.

If you fear death, what does that say about your belief, and trust?

It says it is not strong belief.

Baha'u'llah in the Hidden Words says;

“32: O SON OF THE SUPREME! I have made death a messenger of joy to thee. Wherefore dost thou grieve? I made the light to shed on thee its splendor. Why dost thou veil thyself therefrom."

jehovah comes from exodus 3:15 with the word lord.

jehovah is a verbal noun.

exodus 3:14 is the name of names. it's a verb. this is how we know who is from the lord and who is not. a tree, the lord, is known by his fruit, his works, his creation, her faith manifested.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you.

"I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works(fruits of the Spirit) that the Father has given me to finish--the very works that I am doing--testify that the Father has sent me.

The first line is spiritual the second physical.
Point?

point people are like scrolls, books, never judge a book by it's cover. daniel 7:10

consciousness being pulled inward.

Revelation 6:14
The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

consciousness being projected outward

Revelation 8:5
5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

@kjw47 I think you can agree with me that the "Truth" as in the way, the truth, and the life, is what Jehovah knows.
Jehovah knows that Jesus gave no order to make anything, but you say God did have it written that someone, somewhere, and at some time should make people believe.

That means to me at least, that you really don't know Jehovah or Jesus.

If you know Jehovah you know that God has never put it upon any man, woman, or child the burden of belief. If humankind has ever been given the power over belief, then most people should be right. You say that you are right, which is a ridiculous notion because we can see that Jehovah's Witnesses sometimes have not been right. Not right means you are not on the way of the way, the truth, and the life. If you are not on it, then how can God order you to put someone else on it?

"I am" is indeed the Spirit behind all Names.

The Bab faced an interrogation just as Christ also did. At this interrogation the Bab made an announcement, this is an extract of that account;

"...the Nizámu’l-‘Ulama’ asked the Báb;

“Whom do you claim to be,” , “and what is the message which you have brought?” “I am,” thrice exclaimed the Báb, “I am, I am, the promised One! I am the One whose name you have for a thousand years invoked, at whose mention you have risen, whose advent you have longed to witness, and the hour of whose Revelation you have prayed God to hasten. Verily I say, it is incumbent upon the peoples of both the East and the West to obey My word and to pledge allegiance to My person.”

This is a link to that Interrogation;

Bahá'í Reference Library - The Dawn-Breakers: Nabíl’s Narrative of the Early Days of the Bahá’í Revelation, Pages 309-324

The Babs mission was to prepare the way for the One whom God would make Manifest.

Elijah always comes first.
