I am a night time person. I especailly like walking the woods at night during a full moon. I also like cruising the city at night. Detroit city is full of cool scenes at night. I saw a guy get chased and stabbed one night. The hookers are very entertaining too.

Oooo, Evenstar, I'm jealous! I wish we had Coyote around here!

In certain aspects, I like the day, but in most, I like the night. Much of my spiritual make-up revolves around the moon (so.. I'm a satelite of a satelite?), and I feel a lot more kinship with the stars than the garish sun. (Shhh! Don't tell me it's a star, too! If it is, how does it know to turn on in the morning? Hmmmm?)

I'm not much of a night person. Occaisionally it's fun to go creeping around at night, but for the most part, I prefer the day.
DayWalker!!! *hissssssesssss*

Wow I can't believe the overwhelming night time inclination....

I'm a day person by necessity (I have to be up for work at 4.30am), and a night person by preference. Unfortunately, I don't get to stay up late unless I'm on holidays, or have consumed a lot of caffeine on the weekend. It's always hell trying to get back into my 'work' sleep pattern after I've been on holidays.

Feathers, most nights you hear them howling.... its great!
Our house over looks the woods, early evening we get deer that wonder around the top of the yard.
Its a wonderful place for wildlife.

I'm a Night Walker / Day Creeper . :)

Actually I enjoy both . I just don't care much for mornings .... whatever time of day that falls under ... ;)

Wow, almost everyone has voted for the night. Why don't we just switch our whole society around and have it function at night instead of during the day ???

Because then we'd all be working at night and wouldn't have time to enjoy it :)
Yeah, true, and then we might not get ANY peace and quiet day OR night. :(

I'm no Night Creeper or Day Walker, I think you could say I'm a scary "rings under the eyes" zombie walker.

Both in their way can be equally Pleasant, exciting, tranquil, quiet, noisy, hot or cold, as the other.

I hear what you guys are saying about the night, and I have to say it makes a lot of sense. I also think much of the appeal of night is that, for the vast majority of people, it's the time when the workday is finished, and our time belongs to us.

I don't have the study in front of me, but psychologists seem to think that people 'feel' better when the days are longer. I also think I read that suicide rates are much higher around the shortest and coldest days of the year.

My eyeballs aren't the best in low light, so I prefer bright sunshine and the comforting warmth it brings. The daytime image I have in mind is 80 F, light breeze off the ocean, pina colada in the pitcher, and a Cuban sub coming out of the kitchen @ Crabby Joe's in Daytona Beach, FL.

NetDoc - I always read your posts really calmly, but then get to the Bwahahaha, and suddenly have to read them more frantically. That switch from calm to frantic is really psychotic! :biglaugh: (Did that even make sense?)

Okay this is getting creepy now... 27:1 :).
Combine this with the amount of time spent on this site and I think a psychologist would have a field day with you people.

Me as well. I love the night.
