Kai, Elliott Wild, Autodidact, Green Gaia, Smoke - just to name a few.

Today I had the discussion with my husband -"What to do if I suddenly die or become incapacitated." (This was brought on by our 49 year old neighbor being killed instantly in a car accident two days ago - very sad, by the way.) I told him, "You HAVE TO get on RF and let them know what happened to me!" I'm not sure anyone really cares, but I am sure some people might at least be curious.

Weird, I was thinking the exact same thing last night for some reason: "if I got hit by a meteorite on my way home, who would tell everybody in RF?"

I'm thinking about making a wristband for myself with the url engraved on it. :p

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Hey, we need to make sure that somehow, people know if something happens to us. And Lawrence, thank you by the way.

I was contemplating of that too. If ever I got hit by a car (God forbid) while going to school, you guys should know.

Well, for those of us who have our partners on here as well then it should be relatively easy. I know that if anything should happen to me or Turk the other would surely let the forum know. Turk may not be around that frequently anymore, but he still pops in from time to time. He's always lurking somewhere around here, shaking his head and laughing at somethings while just dropping his face into his palms at others. ;)

OK - so we're clear on this. We have a moral obligation to make sure someone lets the forum know if we're unable to get back on for some reason.

Like being thrown in jail. For Americans, that could be sooner than we think, now that the National Defense Authorization Act has been passed.

See you in Gitmo! Hopefully some of us will end up in the same cell block.

Most of the members here that are missed are also on facebook. They're doing well, just busy with other things. It happens.

I miss them here as well. They were valuable members of the community, and helped to build what we have today.

There have been moderators who have been amazing that I truly miss. Admins like Todd and Rex. And markablue hardly ever comes around anymore.

I think having other RF members - at least one other member - as a friend on facebook, twitter, or google plus is a good way of letting others be aware here of sudden absences. We've lost other RF members before to death and to prolonged illness and injury, and it truly is good for the community to be informed so that we can grieve together and/or offer support however we can.

Do you have any news about them?

Yup, I agree. That's also why I added some RF members on my email.
