What is morality?

We are the product of chaotic evolution...and God does not control it.
I was born with unwanted genitals so in a wrong body and thanks to medicine and surgery I modified them.

No God would conceive something so unfair: that is a woman with the wrong genitals.
so immorality is an illusion...it's because nature is chaotic.

I look at how people treat each others, how people speak to each other, how people think of each others. Why we talk bad about religions
How people don’t answer simple questions? ;)

Seriously though, you didn’t answer my questions and didn’t really clarify what you’re talking about. I could point to various times and places where some people were literally treated as sub-human slaves or where you could be tortured and executed for following the “wrong” religion. I think you need to put most of our modern problems in to context.

Murder. Rape. Stealing. Fraud.addictions. list go on and on.
But those all have always existed. And even worse. Do you have any idea what the English did to the Native American population starting 250 years ago? They don't outright murder them anymore but they still haven't honored half the treaties made with the Native Americans either.

Rape? Been going on for ever and still does. Being selected as a child bride does include rape.

Fraud, stealing , sane thing. Addiction is a newer thing but ancients have smoked and drank drugs forever. How do you think some of the god ideas started? Mystical experiences while hallucinating maybe?

There was a time not 70 years ago in this country where everyone was high on the coke put in the Coke!!

I did not say it is only now there has been lack of morality, But i thought since this is a religious forum that people would know what forms of morality religious people do strive to attain. And yes non belivers can have super high morality too, no problem with that.
But from a religious point of view i would say morality is declining. The wish i had with this threat was to gain insight to how people look at morality, But i understand i failed to find the answer

Yes i see it become more and more, Norway has been a calm country, But now there is rape and murder almost every weekend, that did not happen 30 years ago

Beware of drawing premature conclusions, especially when based on anything other than hard data that statistically demonstrates trends over time.

I won't speak for what things are like elsewhere, but here in America, the media is a powerful influence that can lead people to think something is more frequent than it actually is. Crimes get covered because they are perceived as newsworthy. Coverage of crimes does not correspond to their frequency, but because humans develop their conceptions about the world based on salience or awareness of things? If you watch the news a lot and pay a lot of attention to coverage of crimes - especially the clickbait "news" articles all over the internet these days - it will trick your brain into thinking these things are common or increasing.

According to the hard data I was able to find, offenses reported have gone down since 2003 and they have a really low homicide rate (well below the United States). See:

Irrespective of world morals. America is in a soft civil war. Soft civil war = destruction of the enemy with no bullets. In this case the enemies are the dem (states) and the rep (states)

Examples of soft civil war...doxing to get people fired, ostracized, bullying, harassing / attacking people on the street, one side trying to disarm the other side, refusing service at establishments, taking down online content, promoting the 16 yo vote to favor one side, destruction of the Electoral College to favor one side, open borders to favor one side with votes, trying to buy votes, setting up sanctuary cities to get votes, boycotts to destroy companies and harm states that do not agree with parties agenda.

As America is destroyed from within Mexico, China and Russia will take us over. Mothers day is coming...say hello to mom...for all the votes that think morals are just fine.

My gut is that the morality of individuals is fairly stable, probably rising slowly as societies evolve.

But I think that CORPORATIONS are largely immoral, and the rise of corporations is dragging us all down.

Now, I'd still count myself as a fan of free markets and some form of capitalism, but we have to rein corporations in and sharply curtail some of the superpowers they've gotten over the years.

Bicycles are like morality.
Sometimes your good pants get caught in the chain & sprocket.
Then you're covered in grease.
Morality is like riding a bike:

Flat consistent roads are nice for long rides; big hills are more work, but also more fun and more rewarding.

Rigid ultralight components are useful in some places, but i still prefer a cromoly flexible frame.

Slow is smooth; smooth is fast. The work of protecting civil human rights is ongoing. consistent role modeling tends to be more effective in the long term compared to extreme rhetoric.

Balance is key; but falling down is funny if one doesn't take themselves too seriously; balance is key.

And the best morality is made of titanium.

On the other hand, larger cities and the internet has produced more anonymity, which means that interpersonal nastiness has increased. Things that people would not do in a small town because everyone knows everyone else are now commonly done because of this.
This is a really good point. Many people "do" or promote online things they wouldn't ever dream of supporting or acting on within society. But this can still give the impression that people's morals have declined, because they're engaged in promoting or pretending certain activities online. But I agree that things have cleaned up a lot overall, when compared against centuries past.

I defer to you. You know a lot more than me.
Reasons for the superiority of titanium morality.....
- Carbon fiber is brittle, & the matrix material (typically epoxy) has an unknown life.
- Aluminum doesn't have an infinite fatigue like (unlike TI, with its hexagonal close pack crystal structure).
- Steel corrodes easily (unlike TI).
- Magnesium corrodes even more readily than steel.

I **hope** that your company encourages sensitivity and does not unintentionally stifle you.

I think it's important that your opinions are not silenced. What you say is valuable.
