Ghost sightings...

I know a guy, he is an actor. He is atheist but he had a strong belief in ghosts.

His agent phoned with a job to go on one of the ghost hunt type of programmes. He was overjoyed, he regularly watched the programme. To be in the program with genuine ghost and chances are he would actually see one was just fantastic for him.

He arrived at the set, an old castle with a reputation for being haunted. Almost beside himself with anticipation he introduced himself and picked up his script, sat down and started learning his lines, not so many so no problems. When he realised that the ghost was also scripted to appear at the end of a corridor and my friend was supposed to gasp in shock he put down the script and walked out

His belief in the supernatural shattered by reality

Down. Because almost all of it is fraudulent and hoaxes. People get tired of the Bs.

There's some credible UFO sightings from the armed services with various types of evidence (radar, video, multiple witnesses). But are they aliens or does a country have wildly superior technology.

I think there is more interest now due to releasing some of the so-called government 'files' on UFO's.
And addressing the question as to why in the entire universe ought we be the only life form.
Just hope they're friendly.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Many are debunked or explanatory like the radar and speed phenomenon. Anton Petrov has an excellent video explaining what really is going on.

I've watched a few minutes, he seems to be echoing what I said... we don't know what they are. I have to duck out but will watch the rest when I get home.

Do you think ghost sightings? And ufo sightings are going up or down?:)

According to my observations and experience as a medium, a paranormal investigator, and a participant in the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), both UFO and ghost sightings are increasing, not decreasing. In fact, believing in ghosts and other paranormal phenomena has become more accepted in our society. I have done a lot of studying on this trend and found that the statistics I obtained online supported what I believed to be true. Researching the paranormal is a hobby of mine. I learned the following information from my research; however, I've decided to copy what I had posted in another thread on a related topic rather than starting from scratch.

According to a survey from October 2021, 63 percent of the participants (2,000 people aged 21 and over) believe in the paranormal in some form. The people surveyed said the most common unexplained beings they believe exist include ghosts (57%), aliens (39%), and Bigfoot (27%). A third (35%) of the people surveyed said they have felt an unexplained presence in their home, prompting them to believe that they’re being haunted. Here is the information about the survey: "Paranormal Nation: Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe in ghosts or aliens." As indicated by these articles, belief in the paranormal has gained ground over the last twenty-plus years.

I think his intent was to provide examples that show this is nothing new, and the use of geometry and physics to show how our senses can be tricked into seeing something that really isn't all that strange or unnatural.
