Did you not read the article? The physician CNN medical analyst and Washington Post columnist Dr. Leana Wen admitted in a column, Friday, that the medical community is "overcounting" the amount of "COVID deaths and hospitalizations."No, it just means Fox found a physician willing to go against sound, peer reviewed data, and because it's Fox it's no surprise. It's no different than the NFL carefully choosing physicians who will say there is no link between brain trauma and playing football despite the enormous amounts of evidence that clearly shows this link exists.
Or tobacco companies who did the same. That's just not true and we know, based on medical data, tobacco smoking is hazardous despite what physicians and researchers paid by the tobacco companies are saying.
Oh, a Fox link again, so we are to blindly believe that propaganda channel?
Again, just more Fox political trash.
Guess you also have an issue with reading:
From the link

I though you Dem's put a lot of stock in CNN and the Washington Post?
Guess it is only when you agree with them. Right?

What it means is that all the people who were being called conspiracy theorists were right in one more way.Seems that died from Covid and died with covid means the same thing when it comes to reporting Covid death in many instances.
From the linked article: Dr. Leana Wen slammed after admitting there's been 'overcounting' of COVID deaths: ‘TWO AND A HALF YEARS LATE’
"Since every hospitalized patient gets tested for COVID many are incidentally positive." Wen noted how people with gunshot wounds or other serious illnesses often test positive for the virus, and wrote, "If these patients die, COVID might get added to their death certificate along with the other diagnoses. But the coronavirus was not the primary contributor to their death and often played no role at all."
Does the mean that government overreacted in dealing with covid?
What it means is that all the people who were being called conspiracy theorists were right in one more way.
YESThere are many many doctors, few of whom
are trained in epidemiology. So no matter
what agenda one pursues, one can find a
doctor who supports it.
This raises the question....is this opinion
founded on cromulent data & analysis?
I am rather skeptical of this.YES
Plenty of proof I found in 2020 already
In Holland they did it also, and had to admit it; they gave us plenty of evidence, for all who were willing to see (except the blind of course)Seems that died from Covid and died with covid means the same thing when it comes to reporting Covid death in many instances.
Somewhat off topic is a comment II am rather skeptical of this.

No, I am not supposed to "find my own proof". That is the mistake that you made. People that make claims need to be able to support them. So far your side has failed.
I know
Note: Skeptical can be good/useful, unless you find your own proof

I object to this post for a very personal reason. My best friend died (too young) of Covid-enabled pneumonia. The science and Covid deniers would like to say she died of pneumonia, but the actual cause was Covid. That's not over-counting, and it encourages people to not take Covid seriously, which is dangerous.
Lazy?!
You must be "blind" claiming this about me
I provided many times proof on this one
You were blinded by some emotions

My best friends mother died. She has Alzheimer's but was expected to live another 5 or 6 years. Got covid and died
No, because it isn't true that anyone "admitted" there has been overcounting of COVID deaths. The Washington Post article is a fairly reasonable assessment of the question (with a click-bait headline almost certainly written by some editor) but it doesn't reach any definitive conclusions, it just makes an argument for more accurate and detailed data.Does the mean that government overreacted in dealing with covid?
You aren't making sense. How so? Here is a simple question. Is 1,000 more than 10?
It was a co-worker for me. We were working at a Covid positive nursing home. This was pre-vaccine. We both got it at about the same time. She went to the hospital and never came back.
Sorry, if you can't answer my question you need to take a break. It made perfect sense. You aren't making sense.
Maybe you should take a break.
Exactly. There's only been about 6.7 million deaths so far. What it means is that all the people who were being called conspiracy theorists were right in one more way.
