If the atheist says they are pro life they can get the vote. If on the other hand they are pro choice they will not get the vote.

Given the 2 party system then as long as you could win a primary, you can get elected President.

While it would be much harder to win one as an atheist, it's possible. Probably most likely for an unorthodox and charismatic candidate though.

I understand that his personal life had those troubles. Other then that he was a good man.

Then there was something about eleanor and a lesbian affair with a journalist.

But i would not condemn him overall by a long shot. Tons of marriages go wrong.

Yes. He did a ton of good otherwise. I think his marriage to eleanor was failing already, and no one knows his personal reasons for his weakness. But it is completely forgivable though i do not condone adultery.
