Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
Interestingly, the Bible says Eve was deceived. Adam was not. She did not believe she would die, and she believed the serpent rather than Adam. Adam partook willingly when Eve approached him. He knew what he was doing. Adam must have loved her very much to willingly die along with her. He put Eve in a higher position than God since he chose to disobey God, knowing the penalty. That interpretation fits.
