Does it make sense to use ''Satan'' for an atheistic religious group?

Why would atheism, or the mere lack of belief in deities, represent pride or carnal its?

This is perhaps hard for me to explain this if you are not too familiar with the Western Left Hand Path and other paths among the occult. Some Satanists such as myself pick the symbolic character Satan as something to question, some WLHPers such as myself do not submit to a deity or an entity. Satan for me is a powerful symbolic character just like Set himself. The Temple of Set is a theist organization but it accepts anyone with a different view whether they are atheists. Some regard Set as an archetype meaning in my view a character. Set for example represents war, chaos, and isolation to that extent. At times the meaning of his character instincts happens within the individual the more he knows about his charasterics and the more the individual experiences it from day to day life. Their is this thing called Xeper which means " I come into being." Xeper is an act of change the more the individual sees or goes through life, with me it does not have a spiritual meaning but a very useful meaning. Satan to that extent being used symbolically is diabolical as well for me he represents many things such as indulgence, and wrath. Atheism isn't just used plainly, many religions such as Buddhism may use atheism as well. Wicca I believe has tons of denominations to that extent some may believe in a deity and some perhaps like me use the deities as archetypes, symbols or characters. For me whether I do not believe in an actually entity existing, I have a strong attachment to symbols that I consider to be powerful, Satan for me gives me that feeling of adversarial power that I have never felt in my life before. Set for me gives me this challenge in day to day life.

Thus, I would argue that theism would represent pride much better. Agree? Disagree?

I wouldn't fully agree, their are many religions who are theistic whether they be conventional Christianity etc. It does not matter whether theism represents better pride than atheism, everyone is different to that extent. Some people are perhaps devoted to their beliefs creating their own pride and proudness of what they are doing. It all depends.

A Satanist is a Satanist, many Satanists such as myself have a different view. Some Satanists do not necessarily believe in a god or a devil some regard him as a force or an archetype a character who is therefore used as a personification and in influence to man. Their are also many branches of Wicca as well some are eclectic and some can be different to that extent as well. The definition of atheistic that I am using is within some organizations such as the Church of Satan, the Church of Satan regards Satan As a symbol of mans inherent nature to some extent Satanism and the Church of Satan is epicurean where you henceforth enjoy the most out of life and the here and now. Many people say that the Church of Satan had an attraction to some esoteric people like Dr. Aquino himself who broke out of the Church and Started the Temple of Set or TOS.
Can you provide the definition of atheistic that you are using?

My own definition of atheistic is not necessarily believing in the existence of beings but by using those beings symbolically as characters which represents the things to man philosophically to that extent.
