Does Satan exist?

I have a question for you.

Can you prove that Satan exists?

I myself cannot prove that Satan exists. I have never seen him before. No one has. I believe what the Word of God says and I do believe what it says about him is true. Everybody has their own ideas about the Bible and what it says and that is fine. Everyone is free to interpret the Bible as they choose, but the Word of God is my sole authority for everything I believe.

What do you mean when you say he is a good role model?

He is the only being (unless I'm mistaken) to directly stand up to God and live. He must have been doing something right.

Right. He and those who were willing to stand with him, standing for what's right even though they probably knew they had no chance against omnipotence.

What do you mean by him standing for what is right? Satan fell from heaven because he had pride in his heart to be like God.

Isaiah 14:12-15 says,

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!



13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:



14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.


15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
