talking of coincidences..

someone gave me a "moon pie" today and I learned of the asian tradition, where the moon is a symbol of connectiveness between people all over the world, as the most common thing we can all look at together..

I think that pseudo-organisms exist on planets other than earth, I'm referring to very simple structures that carry out some life functions, rather than actual living beings with DNA. I'm not sure about actual complex life.

Yes that seems far more likely at least. We can't even figure out how DNA arose here. And even if granted that- It's a huge distance to sentient life, when you consider that even if we found many replicas of Earth with all our lucky 'coincidences' , domination by dinosaurs might still be far more likely than people!
