Double announcement

Well it's more real than ever. All my stuff is packed and I'm ready to move into mine and my SOs new apartment! I never did the dorms or room with friends, actually I've never moved since I was ten months old! Luckily I'm far more excited than nervous!

The second announcement came when we learned of an anti medical marijuana addendum in the lease. At first I was very angry, but after only one day, despite withdrawals (I used heavily for over three years) I'm honestly quite excited to quit smoking and improve my own pain management skills. I know it'll be a hard week, but I believe it is for the better. Plus it hasn't helped much in a while anyways, and a tolerance break can make it much more effective if I have a massive flare up in the future. I've debated quitting on and off basically all three years, but we always thought the pros of smoking beat the cons. But now that the time has come I feel very prepared, proud too, and considering I quit serious codeine addiction twice I'm quite confident in this.

So it's an exciting time. Maturity, growth, self control, all things I like. It might be rough around the edges for a bit, but I'm very excited to be entering this stage in my life, and I'm glad my RF family is here to share it?

While I have you, a special thanks to people like @Adramelek , @Onyx , @Quintessence , @Saint Frankenstein , and anyone I can't think of this second for being there for me in numerous situations, and always encouraging such growth, as well as putting up with and forgiving my dark days. Xeper on guys and gals :)

Love,

As much as I want to drink and smoke pot I try to avoid smoking substances whether they are legal for medical use or recreationally. After all I believe many Setians try to avoid using substances due to damaging the pysche. Personally I am starting to develop some contempt for the law due to some absurdities of it, it's not because of murder or any of that but the fact that you have to be 21 to drink or the fact that you now have to be 21 to smoke in my current state that I live in. I just have my own views on certain things that I think is ridiculous.

Well 36 hours have gone by without any THC. Feeling a bit rough but I'm surprised how optimistic I am remaining mentally.

Well at least you're not doing any crystal Meth:laughing:, I could just imagine what you would be like if you were under the influence by the substance.:relaxed:

Yeah it's a joke compared to opiate withdrawal.

Dear Brother,

I am very pleased to learn that you have quit smoking weed. Yeah its nothing compared to quitting opiates huh? I do enjoy a THC high on occasion (I think its been six months since I last toked), however, it can damage the psyche if you do too much of it.

Your Xeper is awesome and I rejoice with you 1137. :smileycat:

Keep up the good work!
