While watching Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace the following chart was being being discussed by retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Seems kind of complex and I admit I have a problem following it. Wonder how the Obama administration views it?

It leaves out that our supposed Ally Saudi Arabia funds ISIS and is not against it.

Agreed. Wahabbi Saudis backed El Quada, might have a hand in weaponizing boka haram, and ISIS.
The Saudis are not allies of the U.S. They might, however, be an ally of Obama.

Bush was found of them. Obama is too. The Saudis specialize in two things; being all things to the Westerners, and destroying all forms of Islam that is not theirs. Obviously this sometimes conflicts.

Saudi Arabia isn't like some monolithic entity. Yes, many Wahhabi and other Salafist groups in Saudi are backing these Islamist uprisings all over the place, but it isn't like some universal priority for every person in Saudi, or even in the Saudi government.
