They're particular ants, called lemongrass ants.
Because of the nature of their diet, they literally add a citrus flavour to the beer.
I imagine Australian honey ants, or similar would be interesting for this type of thing.

At age five, I used to pick ants off peonies and ate the ants. I'm now a vegetarian, I might consider reverting back to eating some low fat high protein animals like ants.
