Elder Scrolls Online

This is Everquest and not Elder-Scrolls-Online, this game was launched like how many years ago?

Well, the alpha borrowed textures, models, etc. from EQ as "placeholders" during development, along with a lot of EQ's source code, which became public domain after Verant Interactive closed its doors. Before ESO was publically announced, the project was even code-named "everquest" because they knew their project was to be a mmorpg cookie-cutter clone and a quick cash-in on the franchise's popularity.

EverQuest, originally launched in 1999, was one of the first MMORPGs to achieve great success and notoriety in the genre. Sony Online Entertainment's game has spawned a large number of successful expansion packs, continually adding to the world of Norrath and its history, races and classes, making EQ one of the most robust games available. In 2004, the game spun off a hugely successful sequel, EverQuest II.

Now lets see EverQuest was created by Sony, ESO is created by Besthoft and Zenamix Online (both different developers and companies) they don't even work together, Eso has its own made Game-Engine. Now all the things you said made no sense are not even relevant to ESO, can you please stop hating a game for no reason?

And ill ask this again when did you try out ESO? Because there is no such thing as a Alpha Leaked "thingy".

Ok so can we go back to your original statement... you said you tried a "A Leaked Alpha" version of ESO if such thing exists please stop making lies next time.

If my screenshot wasn't enough proof, here are some more:

Where is your proof of the things you just said, because ESO is build from scratch they even created there own game-engine for it.

That's not what the dev team told me as I sat in on a vid conference (they kept hassling me for input.)

O and One more thing EverQuest was one of the best success in the MMORPG world so please learn more about the gaming industry because you are making a fool of yourself, any gamer in this section will tell you the same.

Of course it was a success, which is why ESO borrows so heavily from it (and from Runescape).

Again your showing EverQuest pictures and not ESO (Elder-Scrolls Online) both are different games... Is English to hard for you, where is the "leaked" ESO pictures...

Well some of them worked on EverQuest that's true but they also worked on Dark Age of Camelot and many other MMORPG's both were successfull so its a good thing they worked on them.

Yeah and its also a WoW-Clone right? MMORPG basher all the way right? Again my question remains have you ever played ESO BETA? Thats the only thing that is out now.

Please tell me how ESO is a Runescape/EverQuest clone? So because EverQuest was the first successful MMORPG therefore all the other mmorpgs are clones? Off course they have similarities they are MMORPGS. But please tell me how ESO will be a Runescape/Everquest clone ill be waiting.

Actually they're from Asheron's Call and Dark Age of Camelot. :p

ESO might turn out to be a great, original and innovative MMORPG. I was just having fun with you, since you seemed so passionate about (and defensive of) the game.

I was going to say, I used to play Dark Age of Camelot and recognized that instantly. Too bad I wasn't here earlier to spoil your trolling :p

It looks promising. Hopefully Bethesda will make the game as similar to the Oblivion and Skyrim gameplay-wise as possible. The MMO world does not need another WoW copycat.

I agree, seeing the latest gameplay and knowing they will release it in 2014 gives me enough coincidence.
