I just watched most of video called I just watched every elvis movie at YouTube.

He talking the resurgence of Elvis and other 50s artists popularity. It was interesting. He was a great performer. If there are Elvis fans or Jerry Lee Lewis fans or Buddy Holly or other 50s artists put your thoughts here.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
TRUE STORY TIME!

Two things actually.

The first is that I was never an Elvis fan. He was before my time. But I found myself in Memphis so of course I went to Graceland and it was fascinating! And after I toured it, I downloaded about fifty Elvis songs!

Also, I was with my cousins in Baton Rouge the day Elvis died. When we left the house, the adults were getting things ready for a big BBQ. When we came back, all the curtains were drawn and everyone was hunkered down, talking in whispers, around the TV. It was very strange.

I was born a whole decade after Elvis died. My earliest memory of him was the episode of Married with Children where Al sweated a silhouette of the King and Peggy made a whole thing out of it.
