Emotions...

blackout

Violet.
Living in hate, bitterness, self pity, even plastic happiness, or staunch piety
robs one of the ability to experience each day and event in the open newness of BEing.

Some people pray themselves a new white canvas.
Some people meditate.... and reflect....
Some people rest deeply... and let go...
Some employ simple gentle reason...
Some use energy techniques... some fast...
Some cast out... and re-cast... in ritual and symbolism....
Some people love themSelves a new white canvas,
a clean page to fill with ever new things.

and some people who are Christians chose to pray, call upon God, and turn their difficulties over to Him.

I don´t think of emotions as inheritly good or bad. Some are constructive (happiness, forgiveness, etc), and some are destructive (rage, hate, etc), but it is ultimately the context and how we deal with them that makes them good or bad. For example, rage because someone insulted you so you try and hit them is a bad thing. But rage when someone hurts you, a rage that keeps you going and so, can be a good thing. Happiness... I can´t think of any bad thing with that one, though. After all, it is a pretty constructive emotion :D.
