End of the world

You might find this interested, it's about Gog and Magog:

[21:95] It is forbidden for any community we had annihilated to return.
The End of the World*

[21:96] Not until Gog and Magog reappear, will they then return - they will come from every direction.

As far as I know, Gog and Magog are also mentioned in other scriptures signifying the end of the world (as war between evil and good nations?)

[ however , independant thinking dosen't mean that any ignorant who have no tiny knowledge about the arabic language , the reasons of the revealation , al hadith..opens the quran and start interpreting..[/quote]

Does GOD prohibit any person from taking up Quran and trying to understand it on his own??As far as i know.. God doesnt do that but rather invites each and everyone of us regardless of how intelligent or knowledgable we may or may not be to study the Quran on our own and if we wish to ask someone for better understanding we may do that as well but the fact remains that GOD is the one who teaches us and guides us.True believers recognize this!

First what does a man of God mean?..Muhhamad (pbuh) was a prophet and messenger..and the quran clearly states that he never speaks of his own desire..but with a revealation...

Where does the Koran say this, sister?

both the quran and the authentic Hadith are revealations..

Revelations of what?

Where do they say that they are?

the difference is that the quran is the litteral words of Allah..

The Koran never says this, sister.

The concept of being rewarded with virgins is neither in the quran nor an inference from the quran.., it comes from a hadith with weak authenticity "da3if "..althought i can totllay understand why an ignorant wouldn't miss the chance to relate such a thing to the quran..and why another ignorant wouldn't miss the chance to ridicule the mainstream scholars..the heretics who don't belive in his Mirza..

Sura XXXVIII

:50
"Gardens of Eden, whos portals shall stand open to them: Therein reclining, they shall their call for many a fruit and drink: And with them shall be virgins of their own age, with modest retiring glances. This is what ye were promised at the day of reckoning"

Common man, even I can answer that. That is one of those suras we are not sure about so it doesn't count;)

the one they translated into virgins...duh

they say dark eyed maidens with swelling brests too.

virgins/whores/whatever.....the message seems to be that you'll get laid in heaven......on a nice couch....in a garden.

neath which rivers flow...

You can't even locate the very Arabic word that you want to pour all those English meanings into...

If all the english translations are wrong, why have they not been changed?

When Rodwell translates the word "ATOM" I get the point, It's not really an atom..but I get the meaning...."the smallest thing imagineable" a "mote"

Same thing...Wether the word actually literally means virgin, I dunno, I do however get the message of sexual gratification in heaven.

See I don't speak arabic...and I believe that if it were in fact gods word, it would easily trancend a language barrier....

Do the have an exaustive concordance for the Koran? I can't find one.

If everyone agreed upon a rendering, then why are there so many renderings?

The Koran does not promote a sensual gratification in Heaven.

Only islam wants to interpret it this way...

However, as we know, it is not God's word...it never claims to be...

Try openburhan...

If I may, some people claim to believe this. Islam does not interpret, people do.

May I assume you believe Islam is the people? I believe Islam is the path prescribed to the people.

Hello All.
Who would know there was an end to the world. An end for me is not possible as I would not know about it so therefore the world is the same.
