I have started this thread in answer to Eselam's request to utilize a gay person to prove his "interesting" theories about homosexuality. Evidently, Eselam will be arguing for his version and I would be arguing against his version of events.

In theory, this "debate" should be rather short and to the point, but we will see. In advance, I'll try to be civil and take what he is saying somewhat seriously, at least for the purpose of this "debate".

Ok, Eselam, spout forth your views and let's see where this all goes.

What if I simply ask you to prove your argument? Disproving lunacy can be problematic whereas proving a lunatic idea is another thing entirely. I hope you get my point. If that does happen, and I am not expecting you to roll over an let me scratch your belly, I would advise that you enroll in a counseling service with a qualified psychiatrist to get to the bottom of your homophobic beliefs once and for all. You are still young, so there is some hope.

if there is some hope for me who am young, then just how much hope exactly is there for you? if you disprove my arguments, then be assured you will not see me escape it without accepting your arguments. but to see you actually accept anything from me will be quite miraculous so i can't wait.

doesn't matter if they are hot or ugly. if you want me to prove that i can tell who is homo and who is hetero then lets see the pictures. but if you don't want to we can just continue or i know some other members who would be happy to see this test. i'm sure they'd want to post the pics if you don't want to.

well thats to prove that i understand how homosexuality works. i'm not gay, never have been and yet i know a persons orientation just by looking or hearing them speak. this is to prove that i am not making this stuff up. not because the quran says so, not because some scholar says so, not because some anti-gay scientist says so, but because i understand how it works. not the quran, not a scholar and nor a scientist can tell you which out of 2 random people taken from this population of 6 billion is homosexual or heterosexual.

Um, no, Eselam. I was asking if there is some relationship between your "gaydar" ability and your peculiar views on homosexuality. I was not asking if you are gay or not. As you are a Muslim, I would assume that you think you are not gay. Enough on this particular trifle.

I warned you to choose your words with extreme caution. I think the test is perfectly valid. You just don't like the fact that the numbers proved your boasting is clearly wrong. Frankly, I put you down as merely "average", no better or worse than the average person.
