European Ambassader to resign because of Trump

I mean, I guess they possible could. Who would want to do that, and what function does that serve? I mean, generally I go to work, I look forward to not having a miserable position where you are getting directives to do counterproductive things, and the best case scenario is to sit around and do nothing.

I also imagine an ambassador getting fired as opposed to retirement is also a great way to lose any and all benefits of retiring...
Sounds like much ado about nothing to me. Prior to this did you even know you had an Ambassador to Estonia? *laughs*

Lol, you are seriously asking me if I knew if the US had an ambassador in Estonia? The US has has an ambassador at the overwhelming majority of nations, save for the ones that actively anti-American in sentiment.

Yes, I was aware that the US sent ambassadors to places including Estonia... That being said, I keep up with geopolitics, while most don't, so I'm sure there are plenty of Americans who don't.

*Ado about nothing*. I'm not sure entirely what this refers to. I mean, if slowly losing allies etc. isn't a concern to you, then yea, I mean, why would anyone care? I mean, if you are Estonian, and you prefer to remain a free country, it might be somewhat concerning to you that the US president appears to be attacking NATO, the one organization that actually guarantees Baltic states the chance of remaining independent countries indefinitely, , you might fight yourself vaguely concerned that a past ambassador, who was friendly to Estonia and actually understands what their national concerns were and brought them up the USGov, which apparently worked for Estonians, you know, like decades...

Me, personally, I think one of the better benefits of Trump is his ability to more or less slowly destroy the majority of the US's past gains regarding its diplomacy, which just means other countries are less likely to help the US whenever it inevitable finds itself fighting another war on aggression. The slow degradation of the US's power over various regions of the world is not a bad thing if you impose the US's imperial actions.

I am familiar with what your POTUS did in 2014.
He unjustly imposed sanctions on Russia, even if Crimea had been annexed legally through a referendum.

These sanctions are damaging Russia, so it's Putin who should be mad at the US...not the opposite.
The annexation of Crimea is another pretty good example of the aggression Russia's neighbours have to deal with.

For the record, I'm not American. Also Putin can go whistle.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Kind of a bad idea the leave government posts if you disagree with a president, in my opinion. You're just giving the guy you hate an opportunity to put their guy in your place.
That's a good thing. The last thing people need is a government in gridlock. It's probably a reason why Trump has been able to accomplish as much as he has so far.

Keep up the good work and make America great again.

I've heard the state department has been more or less gutted by high level resignations, and that those resigning have been outspoken about Trump being their reason to resign.
Why didn't someone tell me this? I am willing to relocate and my total lack of experience in the field should not matter. Any politically stable country with either a nice beach or mountains to climb would do. Costa Rica would be very high on my list.
