Ever notice how atheists are virtually always on the opposite side from God on many issues?

So then by being made in god's image, you mean that we can experience anger and shame like God? My dog does both of those as well. Is it also made in God's image?

Anything else that we have in common with your god? Has it ever enjoyed a good meal or told a joke? Has it ever taken a shower? Does it sleep? Does it ever worry or feel threatened? Do things smell bad or good to it? Has it ever felt the warmth of a sun?

I reject your might-makes-right ethics. My father used to say something similar: "I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it" He would have been just as immoral as this god you describe had he followed through.

Creating hell and damning people to it for being human was an act of war (not mere rebellion) against man. By your reasoning, man has the right to destroy this deity for its monstrosity, though not the power. Man has the right if not the power to throw it in its own torture dungeon and lock it in for being willing to do that to man.
We are not creating any hell or damnation. These realms or planes are simply accepted as fact as was proven multiple times over using logic. Before logic, I never believed aside from childhood faith. It took logic and empiricism for me to finally accept God and the after-life as a cold hard self-simulative fact.

You simply believe that all of this is actually real rather than illusion. But I am here to tell you it's the latter.

.001% of the non human species, that appear on the surface to be showing signs of love and remorse, does not constitutive the grounds to claim that non humans are either spiritual, reverent, pious, contrite, contemplative, shameful, capable of adoration, malevolent, etc..
By that reasoning we have no reason to assume you are capable of those. You appear to, but that doesn't count towards saying you are.

I do not wish to promote the means so I will refuse to mention how. But I have achieved genius with it.
OK, if you do not wish to promote the means, do you have an opinion on what your god (a creator deity?) might make of the means?

As to genius, how do you square this with your profile description of yourself as being "a rather humble person" ? Self-proclaimed genius hardly suggests humility.

Wow, look Aupmanyav, a picture of your ancestor - according to you.
Such love on their faces.
By the way, did you know that tigers typically kill and eat monkeys?

"They respond emotionally to others and they evaluate situations in a similar way, becoming stressed and anxious in times of danger. While we may never know exactly how animals feel, studies have found that there are definite behavioural and physiological similarities in emotional expressions between humans and animals."

Huh... It's almost like you're... Wrong.

We need a God because He was proven using logic.
Really? When was this? You've claimed this twice and offer no details. I think you are bluffing. I think you are pulling our leg. Maybe you are joking and we should laugh.
That is the extent to which we are willing to apply it to our daily lives.
Many do believe in illusions so they can cope with life. Not everyone can deal with the challenges of life head on.
When I go to the grocery store, I do not imagine myself as needing a God.
What are you saying, that you don't imagine you need a God but perhaps you do? If you are this confused just going to the grocery store.....
But it will certainly become necessary and obvious when you awaken in the form of your spiritual, astral self.
Sounds like more imagining on your part. Don't you have a job and responsibilities? A hobby perhaps?
It is otherwise not necessary when you are alive and well. Subconsciously, we all know God is reality. This I know for a fact.
More illusion. How often do you function in reality?
No, faith is not reliable, that is why Langan and I use logic.
Not that you have proven these claims to us. So we aren't convinced you are correct. You aren't a celebrity, you aren't special, you need to explain that your claims are true. We won't take your word for it. It's not good to disrespect others as you do. It's bad manners.
Matter is only a subset of reality.
The laws of physics is another part. Reality is what is detectable, not what we imagine.
God is not apparent in the objects you see around you. That is why you must use a reliable means of looking beyond.
Like what? What are these reliable means that can detect a God? Use facts. No code speak.
I'm not going to bother with this. I will simply end by saying that I am very familiar with altered states of consciousness and spiritual planes. You however are not. Otherwise you would not be spewing ignorant atheistic garbage on a public forum.
So you are unable to show us you are correct in what you believe. That is why we dismiss your claims. You talk big until you are asked hard questions, then you run away. We are wise to doubt you.

I can't believe I have to ignore this, but won't.

That was my point.

There is no need for an "all" powerful anything. It's not necessary for things to operate smoothly.
WHAT THE FLIPPIN" HECK ARE WE TALKING ABOUT, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD?

i.e. creation ex nihilo

Uhm...

Creation as a whole? The act of creation itself?

It can be just as much a concerted effort as a singular one. Why do you suppose that One is the only possible combo?

I don't mean to be insulting, but you are sounding way too simple right now that I can barely find the appeal or the effort to reply.
If you've never read the Bible in its entirety, that's fine, we can just ignore then the argument of whether or not man initiated God's wrath, or that God is unjust in condemning mankind.

Equally exasperating is trying to impress upon you the meaning of being created in God's image. I have attempted countless times to do so with you, and here you are breaking down all that's been said as to whether or not God feels cold or experiences having a rash.

The problem with evil is suffering, but if it is to save a female it is noble. God was never going to prevent suffering, in all his might he did create suffering so wrath can have a fighting chance, and so that lady sorrow may be delivered. Maybe God loves war more than your kushy little dream life. Moreover, a messiah can not be ruled out of the realm of possibilities. IMO the fallen truth will save us all. Thoughts?

C-.
But nice try for fanfic.

Until you show me a either Buddhist monkey, or a Christian mosquito, or an eagle with a hedjab on its head, or an orca with a crucifix around its neck, you are not allowed to determine who's right and who's wrong.

Of course I am right.

You are wrong.

As per my post and numerous scientific studies. (Which I'm willing to dig up).

If anything, religion makes people more barbaric than without it. Religion isn't some badge of honor, or a necessity of intelligence or emotional depth. It can help some sure. But man has it ****ed up more than it's fixed, as an organization.

Have another one.

Don't waste my time with stupid articles by inept biologists.
Like I said, unless one of those articles has a picture of a camel in a monastery or a pig wearing a vestment, I have no time for this egregious nonsense.
