Ever suffered sexual abuse?

Technically I have but it wasn't that bad. I had a guy drive me to work, get me stoned, and massage my leg and grab my crotch without permission. I pushed his hand away.

It traumatized me for a day and then I got over it.

In prison I had my crotch punched and my behind grabbed, and someone whipped out their penis and touched my ear with it, but it didn't leave any lasting scars.

However, my heart really breaks for anyone who has unconsensually been penetrated by a penis. I would rather die.

That has to be an icky feeling that doesn't go away, and must leave a person with a lot of shame.

I'm deeply disturbed by that happening to children because I value Innocence, and long for the innocence I had as a young child, and it really disturbs me that some people rob children of that.

You don't have to go into details about what happened, but if you have been abused in such a way, what ways did it affect you mentally and emotionally?

Do you feel you have fully healed from the trauma?

I was also date raped by an obese female, but I enjoyed it...she got me too drunk and stoned to barely move, laid me down and had her way with me...oh well!

So what, a child is no longer innocent after having been raped?

You ever think, hmmmm, this might be just a tad too personal. Oh yes let's tell the internet every secret I have, or darkest memory, or worst fear, what could go wrong.

Admins probably have access to your IP with your IP they can get your location, location can get public records, public records can get your identity. I'm not saying RF is spilling over the brim with shady people that want to know your information so that they can exploit it. I bet there are a few members that might be like that. They are everywhere. And it's safe to assume that as well. So in the future maybe not ask deeply personal information. Especially on the internet. You may not have much to lose, but do you think of anyone else's safety when you ask questions like this? Maybe you are ignorant.

But when the next time comes where you ask a question that is beyond too personal, I will have remembered this post. Though you may have conveniently forgotten it.

One, it's a question that one neither asks nor answers casually and nonchalantly. Two, you seem to be attempting to dismiss and downplay the psychological trauma inflicted by sexual abuse. Your ghost posse clearly failed to guide you on this.

I was sexually abused when I was 6-8 years old. I have no problem discussing it and I don't think this question is insensitive; however, it strangely occurs that victims often feel more nonchalant about this than do non-victims.

While some may be comfortable with it, where do you get the notion that most victims are as matter-of-fact about their experiences? I wouldn't want to make such a callous presumption.

It just feels like it, because the victims that talk seem more numerous than the ones who never do.

Perhaps my wording was off. I don't mean to say most of them.

I don't mean victims who tell vs those who don't. I mean just being able to discuss it in general without being as squeamish.

Sure this is personal and maybe with posting this, i try to write it off my head. So i dont mind. Its more than 30 years ago.

My memory doesnt reach that far to know i was abused at all. There's an invisible wall to what has happened. I just remember that i had beg someone else to be his girl at the age of 6 to 7. I felt be loved which in fact was what i needed. Love. Attention. A restoration of the love i had lost. I felt alone since i was 3. Probably as how anyone else feels i guess. So i took a chance to have a love that soothed my emptiness. I only can remember one sexual thing. But i cant see in any memory that i did it. Its blank before and after a few seconds of that moment. I just remember that i cuddled myself that i am being embraced.

One years ago from now i had a dream where i and another were in the woods near the river were i lived at that age. I was excited and run around him. It looks like there were little glowing things around my head. Yeah, just like the glitter stuff in those disney movies. But as i looked at me in the dream I felt like i was annoying him. I felt like i have to hate myself. As i woke up i felt so annoyed from myself. My guilt. For no reason I cant see behind this wall. What has happened and who that was. I have heard that traumas will reveal when someone is ready to cope or handle them. What my self is trying to hide from me? That annoys me the most.

So i cant be healed now. With singing and playing songs i try to heal myself. Then, for a moment, i feel just alive, just to feel unworthy of it. I feel so annoyed from myself.

bye

I think it's more a theory based on the squeaky wheel being presumed the majority simply because the rest stayed quiet.

Yes, but I was only momentarily surprised and it had virtually no effect on the rest of my life.

I was raped by a female when I was a baby. After that I'd cry and hate being held by women when I was a baby, I also ripped apart baby dolls. I still hate being touched by women.

Thanks, that was helpful! Sad as well! :(

I was raped by a fat woman who I found repugnant and annoying, but I'm glad it happened cos it makes the story of life more interesting.... that's just me...idk *shrug*

But not uninnocent.
There is a type of innocence and purity that can be damaged if a child is raped...there are many sexual perversions that have afflicted children who have been raped...its a terrible trauma for a young, pure, developing, and innocent mind to go through....

The first - perhaps we gain from the experiences of others, no matter how painful, such that we can learn or empathise with them and what they might have gone through. Not noticed the accounts of others who have written books concerning their abuse or have publicly remarked about such? Do we have to leave it to 'celebrities' or such? There are many forums on the internet where people do reveal quite personal information. Presumably they are aware of who might read this. Some are no doubt better than others in avoiding any possible problems arising from this.

The second - perhaps anyone replying has the capacity to decide for themselves as to what they disclose. And no, he is not ignorant for posing such a question. Perhaps a warning might be given though as to the lack of confidentiality and the responsibility for such disclosures.
