What have you learned from RF?

(Make it bitter, make it sweet, make it funny, or make it insightful, just make sure that it encompasses you and your experience).

I learned that YEC existed more than just in small pockets of Christianity.

I guess I wasn't paying attention, but I really didn't think many people thought the earth was that young, or disputed the scientific evidence about it.

I also learned that saying you think that "creationism" is a perspective simply rooted in a belief in a creator/creative force will unleash a fury previously unseen in the galaxy. :D

That it is quite possible to have a reasonably civilized internet community that discusses one of the most taboo and potentially controversial areas of human culture that exists; not everything on the internet is a cesspool of trollish behavior and abysmal grammatical conventions.

That one single website can be accused of being biased in favor of everything!

I know, right? That one just makes me laugh. :D

Oh, I think I can add to that: I've learned to simply never open that can of worms.

(Read that with a Minnesotastanian accent.)

I forgot about the clause that says it's OK for me to wrong as long as I refuse to admit it.
(Read that with a really bad W.C Fields impersonation).
