Evidence of NOAH's FLOOD

So you consider humans to be in a higher position somehow than animals, although you, as an evolutionist, probably believe humans ARE animals, right? Do you eat animals like chicken, fish and beef, etc. now, or are you a vegetarian?
I'm not an evolutionist. I agree with the explanation it gives as it has compelling evidence leading me to accept it.

Humans ARE animals. It couldn't be more obvious. I wish to elevate the rest of the animal kingdom to our level. Humans are also herbivores meaning we are capable of consuming animal flesh as well as grains. We have a choice and I choose to eat mostly vegetation. But I am an herbivore, an animal and a species of great apes. I am not a cannibal so humans are, preferentially, off the table. I do like fish, lots. Also, I thank any animal I may consume. I have been contemplating going vegan or more vegetarian. Eating animals, like chickens, that are abused and neglected is probably immoral. So the "mainly" vegetarian thing is a strong possibility in my life. But fish is yummy.

I'm sure you keep them under control so no unauthorized person could get a hold of them. OK, thank you for explaining your viewpoint. You don't mind dying for yourself or your loved ones, right? Because that's just the way it is perhaps.
I wouldn't want to die but would rather live for them. So I would mind dying even if I could die for them.

What do you mean by "evolutiinist"?

Fwiw, I am not an " evolutionist" because
I do not accept the word or it's use.

Any more than I will accept "chink" as
It's derogotory, or " Einsteinist" as it's
weird.

You should use the phrase "other animals".

And what do you believe that humans are? To paraphrase someone:

You are too big to be a bacteria and move too much to be a tree.

Here we shall discuss evidence of NOAH's FLOOD. There is ongoing scientific research that has brought to light many interesting finds, that contrary to some or many ---- does in fact point more and more to a monumental worldwide cataclysm that is labelled the FLOOD in GOD's Word: Global Evidences of the Genesis Flood
No other culture on earth remembers a great, great.....great grandpa Noah except for the people who invented the story who just happen to be descendants of the main character! Motive? Establish an authoritative line of descent back to the Adam of Mesopotamian lore. Blood lines and authority are everything in Judaism.

Much of Old Testament history is and exaggeration and produced for an Israelite audience to prop up flagging faith during the Babylonian captivity period. The existing secular history books mentioned in the OT vanished from history! IMOP

I think there was some mention of the Mediterranean flooding as being a possible origin for the myth but that is posited as occurring about five million years ago, so hardly likely to have been passed down through memories.

So you think evolutionary process put it in your brain (mind) that you don't want to die?

There are accounts transmitted verbally that you don't have to agree with.

So there we go. You don't mind killing animals for food or whatever.

There's a reason God gave Moses what He did.

The ancient cultures around the earth that predate Genesis would have drown in the Israelites flood story. To account for that the authors of the story claimed God mixed up all the languages. But not to fault them, when they originally wrote the story for the child like mind of bronze age sheep herders, they didn't claim to be inspired by God. The ruling priest class would latter make such a claim.

But we know who they copied the story from. We also know that it never happened.

Noah's flood was a smaller flood even between the rivers. That's why when it "suddenly appeared" in the writings of the Hebrew priest class it was adoptable. The Priestly elite felt it important to keep impressing upon the people that they were "chosen". Israel's sense of divinely ordained nationalism grew out of these established traditions.

So you are claiming that the biblical version is just a,myth. We may agree.

They do get some seriously mentally ill scientists at those places. Andrew Snelling earned a PhD in geology. He worked for mining companies and wrote papers dating some of the formations that he worked with to 1.8 billion years. But something happened to him and for a short while he wrote both standard scientific papers, and YEC papers. It would be interesting to have a psychiatrist that understood some science analyze him.

In 2015 Snelling wrote an interesting and useful paper in Answers Research Journal about the classification of meteorites. However, I think that he went off the rails when he tried to explain the radiometric ages of meteorites.

So do you think death is ok as you figure it would be ok under certain circumstance? Although many people go to doctors when they get sick, they realize death looms in the horizon even if they recover from an illness.

Please don't use the word "okay". Death is inevitable. But how would you feel if someone killed on of your children? Would the claim "Death is inevitable" make you feel any better? Would you quit seeking justice for the man that killed you kids? If dean happens early by accident we are going to be sad. If it was a loved one we will be very very sad. But if it is an unneeded death for petty reasons by a person we are going to want justice. You claim that your God is willing to kill people for rather poor reasons. Of course rational people are not going to like that version of God.
