Evil

Master Vigil, I agree. Good and evil are what we make them. They are subjective human categories of objective reality.

Evil, good, black, white, etc... They are all subjective ideas. They only exist within our minds. And no, the spirit is not just good. Spirits are neither good, nor evil in themsleves. They are only so within the perception of those perceiving them. Neither is god, for no such god that exists can be perfect while being solely good. Balance is the universe.

Sorry, but nothing could be farthest from the truth !! If your assertion is true then there would be no reason , whatsoever, to prefer choosing good over evil. If god is both, good and evil, why do we always feel better when we do good. If there is NO god, why do we always feel better when we do good ?? The truth of the matter is that there is a CREATION STANDARD, an absolute standard, and that standard is God. The post on evil, by Jesus, is absolutely correct in what it states. Your theology seems to be the nature and this time-space universe, but God transends the nature and time-space universe. Think about it !!

people don't always feel better when they do 'good' nor do they always feel bad when they do 'evil'....

lets take canabalism for example... most places call that evil, but there were people who felt that it was a good thing (that it protected thier people and souls) and felt good when they did it. This makes canabalism a good thing.

The Aztec beleived that it was the sacrifice of human blood that kept their patron god strong so that he could better protect them and provide more rain. To do this they sacrificed thousands of people. Eaven the priests themselves would mutilate thier own bodies to make shure that there would be enough sustanance for thier god. To them this act was a noble and good thing....

for any 'evil' act there is a time and a place where that act is 'good'.

The only reason is to better the world through what we fell is good or evil. but good and evil are not external things one can choose from, they are internal perceptions of external things.

That is a cultural idea, maybe its just because of emotion receptors in the brain reacting to outside stimuli that makes us feel good. But then again, not everyone feels the same way when doing the same thing. Just because we fell good when we do something that some believe is good, does not mean that there is a god that is good. I say that if god is god, god must be perfect. And a perfect god cannot be solely one opposite without the other. That would make it half perfect, and not perfect at all. Therefore I recognize the union and balance of the universe. I do not believe in the bibles god, I believe in the force of the universe, and the flow of nature.

Correct in what it states sure, but correct on what evil is, no. Hmmm... what exactly is transcending this time space universe? Is it the spirit world? Heaven? Hell? Well guess what, I am an well respected member of the spirit world in which I deal directly with the spirits of the universe. Guess what, they are the ones who taught me this theology, and it is not just mine, taoists have it, some buddhists have it, native americans have it, some gypsies have it. Step out of your little book, and come into the real world. And find that, subjective terms like good and evil, are in fact just that. SUBJECTIVE!!
