Evolution a theory in Crisis

evolved yet?

A Young Evolutionist
Just a simple question has anyone read the book?

Evolution: A Theory in Crisis

by Micheal Denton. It is a real classic i brought and read it last week.

This is not a creationist book, the book was written by a chap who is not even religious. Even atheists and agnostics are questioning the theory of evolution and seeing the problems with it!!
He was christian when he wrote the book but he has abandoned creationism and atheism.

Michael Denton has never been a Christian, if you actually read his book you would of noticed he is an agnostic. As mentioned a number of agnostics and atheists are beginning to oppose evolution, check out the book "Shattering the myths of darwinism" written by an agnostic Richard Milton. There are even books out by atheists supporting intelligent design. If you check back on this forum in the next few days i will be making a post about this.

You mean the Richard Milton who says paranormal phenomena such as psychokinesis and remote viewing are real? The one who says there is evidence for luminiferous ether, but it is ignored because it contradicts the theory of relativity?

I don't care what he considers himself; he's a nutjob. And again, atheists don't support intelligent design. It's impossible.

Yep, the very same Richard Milton who said that there is no way to distinguish a Homo habilis from a modern Homo sapiens.

Christianity is a requirement for Fellowship in the Discovery Institute, which Michael was for a time after his book was published.
Of course, he could have been deceitful....

It doesn't matter whether he's agnostic, atheist or muslim. If he's wrong, he's wrong. Just because he claims to be an agnostic, doesn't make his statements more valid. His ideas would need to be tested, verified, repeated, falsified and published in a scientific journal before they would become credible.
