Evolution is Cruel!

Not only did I find out that the lowly and annoying chihuahua is actually the same species as the majestic and mighty wolf. I just found out that the closet living relative of the awesome and terrifying tyrannosaurus rex is the tasty and delicious chicken!

Now how did that happen? This proves to me that evolution is cruel! What sort of monster would take the tyrannosaurus and turn it into a chicken?

It doesn't seem in anyway fair to me that the tyrannosaurus is now being eaten by the descendants of the tiny mammalian shrew creatures that in once routinely step on!

It's like the what the Bible says:

"Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Stripped of their teeth, they lie fricasseed!"

Environment determine evolution.
Species adapt to the environment in order to survive as a species.
Sometimes it is not successful.

Evolution can therfore not be cruel, because it is not controlled by anyone.

But just think the mighty Eagle is also just as descended from the T.rex as the chicken.

Plus, while we may think of chickens as laughable.... Roosters are still armed with some pretty impressive weaponry.

Anyone who keeps roosters can tell you how aggressive they are and that you need to trim the spurs so they don't stab you with them... So, let's respect the chicken, however tasty, they are still dinosaurs at heart. :D

And a laying hen can peck the hey outta ya if she doesn't think you deserve her eggs...or just doesn't take a liking to you.

Something tells me this chap isn't understanding this thread very well.

Behold the mighty rooster and thank the gods he's too small to accomplish his murderous desires.

Wait... is he trying to grab that guys butt with his claws or peck it with his beak? Important questions that must be answered, or we will all be overrun by descendants of dinosaurs!

I must say that is one of the most cleverest OP's I've seen here yet. Thumbs up!

Poor thing. It still retains residual ancestral memory and wants to stomp on the annoying mammalian shrew creature.

Evolution is cruel.
