The trick to avoiding this is admitting that we are not God and have no idea who exactly is going to hell because what it truly comes down to is what someone takes to their grave. In other words, everybody has a chance of repenting and even Jesus stated that the only two sins that would cause one to not be forgiven is blashpemy of the Holy Spirit and unfogiveness. Jesus gave a parable explaining this in Matt.13:24-30, 36-43.The phrase has been repeated repeatedly (is that repetitive?) but is meaningless. Either you can not pass any judgement on the person despite their behavior, or you can judge the person because of it, you cannot judge strictly the behavior and not the person. Judging the person must lead to some consequence, which is in the very least not loving them in the same way. You could not love someone who you adamantly believed was going to hell the same way you could a religious comrade. It would be like trying to assess a person based on their works of faith while ignoring their faith. That sounds ridiculous, but it works both ways.
Sincerely,
