Post a fact or a realization about yourself or your life and how it makes you feel. :D

I'll start: my 22nd birthday is in less than two months. That makes me feel kinda old (not kidding).

I get more grace, visions, dreams, and meaningful experiences when I pray to murdered girls than any Diety. They have reached godess status in my spirituality.

I even have feast days for them each month, make shrines for them in the woods, buy them flowers, keep candles and incense burning before their images, make burnt offerings, and transubstantiate wine into their blood. The universe has something for everyone :D

I just doubled your birthday score recently, so whatever you do, don't waste your youth feeling old!

Which makes me realize; that a 66 year old would tell me the same. We're always as young as were ever going to be, so that's always something to take advantage of?

I am that 66 year old that will tell you the same. But I will also tell you it's never too late to chase a dream, and that makes me feel hopeful.

I can't sleep well unless I sleep on the floor without covering.
It gives me the sense of 'this is how it's supposed to be' and helps me relax.
Might not seem like a happy thing, but it is to me :D

At the risk of being a downer, I realized that I often tend to think about what it would be like if my dad's friends die. Not because I think about death, but because I have already mourned many people.

When I was being evaluated for Asperger's, one of the things that made it very obvious from the IQ test was the bits testing more social related things was the only thing that was under 100. Math, spatial, language and vocab, and everything else was sufficiently up there.

You shouldn't. I turned 30 a couple months ago, and asides from my knee, I've never really felt more alive, or even younger. Actually, it's been pretty nice. Joking, smiling, laughing, I even told a teacher one of his ideas was just dumb (Pascal's Wager - not my fault that if there is a god such a thing would have to be terribly offensive). I even almost called him a dumb *** in class today for not being able to identify Mesopotamian art (he is an art teacher), and then again in my next class with him following that one when he had on his power point lecture that Hegel was born sometime during the 1920s and still alive despite the fact Hegel died like 100 years before that and was born mid/late 1700s.

I just turned 60 and I don't need anything in life to make me happy, I was born happy and I will die happy, yea yea.:)
I turn 61 in 6 weeks or so and I agree 100%. Some of us are just born happy snots. It's pretty disgusting, but we all have our crosses to bear...

My realization is that, like professionals have told me in the past, I'm a natural born therapist. That my ideas sync well with those in the field is major plus as it is helping me to pierce through the damage done to my looney sister by others. I'm beginning to think there is a real person in there... sometimes.... so, that's something.

Likewise, I have decided to leave my estate to my nephews (sorry, @Sunstone the pictures of your navel lint were tempting, but ultimately, not enough) and that has pleased their mom, my eldest sister, more than I can say. I told her in our weekly call yesterday. Just because you are old doesn't mean you can't mend fences. :)

Approaching 69 and have had a roller coaster life(so far).
I still don't know what I want to do when I leave school.

Self-made religions are so sad. They have no basis for the truth.

I just realised that later this year will be 10 years since I met my husband in person. I'm happy we're still together, in love and caring for each other. I feel like I want to do more for him as he handles a lot of practical stuff and is the sole provider. I'm really not good at mundane tasks.

Anyone got a get rich scheme? :p

I go with what gives me the most grace. When I prayed to nothing but Jesus, the father, and the holy Spirit, that was sad because I wasn't receiving much grace and wanted to kill myself.

God gave me something, a devotional that actually gives me joy and that I find meaningful.

Speaking of lacking truth, I probably believe the same things about Jesus and the Father you do

You're just a young whippersnapper!
But unlike Debatie, at least you're an adult.
